Moulds Trade Official

Lets hope they can negotiate it down to a fifth or a sixth. I would be O.K. with the fourth, but I would hate to give up the 1st pick of day 2. Maybe a swap of 4ths ....
 
To sum this up for everyone just joining in:

Philadelphia sports radio WIP 610am reported that Moulds and the Texans have agreed to a contract, and the Texans/Bills have to work out a trade to make the deal final.

I would rather them give up a 5th since our 5th is like a 4th.
 
What about a 5th this year and next? I'd like to keep that 4th this year, being it's the first pick of the second day.
 
if casserly pulls this off he will have done the one thing he has needed to do for the past 3 years...has anyone else started to see the picture here that maybe it wasn't casserly but it was capers unwillingness to go after free agents that has stunted the growth of this franchise
 
What an off season!!! This guy will really help us focus on the draft as far as the best players available...Come on CC...Get it done!!!
 
heck yes. cc has done a great job so far this offseason, obviously we still have a huge task ahead of us with the draft, but this is a way better offseason then i was expecting...

Nope, they were asking me if I new anything about the contract details, in which I told them that all of our reports are coming from them.

Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Jabar Gaffney will be used a lot inside in three-receiver sets, according to head coach Andy Reid. Reid said, "One thing that jumps out at you when you look at his tapes is he doesn't drop the ball. Great hands and runs very good routes. In this offense, those things go a long way. He has a good feel for the safety. We're going to use him a lot as the inside (slot) receiver in three-receiver sets. He wasn't afraid to cross the middle with linebackers and safeties."

When I talked to them off the air, their insider up in Philly told them that the deal is done...but they can't confirm it. They did stand on the "insiders" information though, calling it pretty solid.

I guess the Texans are trying to keep it on the down low until the trade with the Bills can be made.

I imagine Mould's agent told Philly he was going to Houston, that's why they know before we do.

I think we can get in trouble for "tampering," talking to a targeted player before acquiring him.
 
just checked the bills message board and there is nothing about moulds there...heck there is more about them trying to trade jp rather than moulds

No, they gave him permission to seek a trade meaning Moulds could talk to whoever he wants.

They are not very smart fans....Last year they all were predicting a SB...They also thought that JP was going to be great...

Many stations won't report it until it is officially announced. They don't want to lose credibility.
