This gets me so excited.Strange, NFL today on CBS had Jason Lacanfora on reporting that Leslie Frazier was in Houston today for his interview and had emerged as a favorite fr the position
This gets me so excited.
J/K.
Wouldn't suprise me at all though
I'd be fine. His OC hire is what I'd be waiting for.I'd be thrilled
Also, did thay dude have a lazy eye?
Lol no the guy commenting. I didn't recognize him. I haven't watched any pregame stuff in ages. This waiting till 2 o'clock is killing me. I haven't had a beer yet eitherI didn't hear that. Were they talking about Watson?

Not a fan of this. Will see what happens.

The #Texans will interview David Culley,
@Ravens
ass’t head coach/receivers, tomorrow.
Interesting. I would be impressed if that was the play and NC pulled it off.
He was high on the list here I had heard..Texans choice must still be in the playoffs
Watson is angry because owner Cal McNair won’t fire Easterby, according to those familiar with the situation. McNair continues to support Easterby while Watson stews and Caserio interviews.
Unless Kansas City offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy changes his mind, he won’t be available for an interview for at least another week. The Chiefs beat Cleveland in the divisional round Sunday, and Bieniemy has said won’t agree to any more interviews as long as Kansas City is playing.
Caserio hopes to interview Bieniemy as soon as he’s available, but if the Chiefs reach a second consecutive Super Bowl, it’ll reduce the odds he’ll get that long-overdue opportunity to become a head coach after waiting so many years
Soooo it comes down to either its easterby or watson that stays.......
I think Leslie Frazier has a real shot in Houston, and there’s an interesting offensive coordinator nameattached to his candidacy: Colts quarterbacks coach Marcus Brady. Brady’s very well-regarded in Indy and has an interesting resume, with much of hisprofessional career, both as a player and coach, spent in Canada.

SportsRadio610 is saying Bieniemy is being interviewed by the Texans today, so I guess that rule change, has changed things.
They're negotiating and EB wants full control of the roster

you can blame watson for that oneI'm torn on that, for the sake of argument lets say they hire him. On one hand I tend to like HC having more control of their roster assuming they cut and play based on performance. Who better than the HC to really see who is playing their best. On the other hand I'm reluctant to give a guy who, on paper at least, is so much like OB in his resume and experience. We saw what happens when OB had full control I don't want anything even close to that again.
Especially if it’s not his first choice of HC.Nick Caserio didn't come to Houston to turn the roster over to the HC! Especially a first time HC. That would be a deal-breaker for me if I were NC.
From what I have been told, in order to placate Watson, Cal McNair has put strong pressure on all for hiring Bieniemi. The circus looks like it continues.Nick Caserio didn't come to Houston to turn the roster over to the HC! Especially a first time HC. That would be a deal-breaker for me if I were NC.
Hmmmm not on board with this. Much rather casserio have full controlThey're negotiating and EB wants full control of the roster
Where does that come from? They're negotiating and EB wants full control of the roster
The Internet?Where does that come from?
Isn't the way it's supposed to work, if they're truly "aligned" is that the HC tells the GM that these are the type of players he needs to run his systems, then the GM goes and finds those players? I don't think it's the GM's responsibility to determine what players make the final 53. That's on the HC who's out there coaching these guys on a daily basis.Nick Caserio didn't come to Houston to turn the roster over to the HC! Especially a first time HC. Im a firm believer that a head coach should say he should be on the roster a d who shouldn’t be. It’s up to the GM to get it done if possible. But a GM shouldn’t be able to force a guy on a HC
