I have one or two people on ignore and for the most part they don’t post often. I disagree with a lot of what I read on here but very rarely anything worth debating.
Zshawn posted that podcast two or three weeks ago, I even forgot who the two gentlemen were talking but they discussed, in detail, how the Texans were “born” as well as O’Brien’s fairly unimpressive resume before coming here - some of which I already knew about, some was new to me. They also pointed out OB’s flawed tendencies as an offensive game manager. All of this further convinced me BoB has reached his potential as a HC and I feel it’s time for a big change in philosophy and leadership. That said, I know it isn’t going to happen anytime soon and O’Brien will win any power struggle simply because he’s been in the same locker room as Belichick and Brady as posted up thread.
Consequently, my interest in arguing/debating the subject of O’Brien with anyone here or otherwise is zero. I’ll just say in my opinion he should have been fired after that disaster in KC...he wasn’t and was given even more power over the franchise. Since then I’ve cared less about the Texans.
