Lol, now you're gonna pretend that you don't know who I'm talking to? Y'all meaning you (Max) and Lucky because you were the ones expresses the sentiment that lol not knowing how good Watson would be required an apology.
Which I happily gave btw....because lol that's what this thread is supposed to be....a celebration......
Based on your definition of chest thumping wouldn't YOU be chest thumping now? By saying that you had less negative things to say about Watson then I?
Where is the chest thumping? Pointing out revisionist history and poking a little fun at people refusing to admit being wrong isn't the same thing as chest thumping. If I wanted to chest thump I could have been doing it for a long time now.
I am teaching a lesson in draft evaluation here? Draft evaluation is about assessment and quantifying observations. Prediction is a media thing. Any scout knows that you can only report on what you see and not what will happen because too much of a prospects success or failure depends upon factors external to the prospect....the surrounding talent, coaching, organization then there personal non-football factors how they learn, how coachable are they etc. None of which can be predicted based on knowing empirical whether Watson has a strong or weak arm. Do you understand? An assessment is either right or wrong its not based on prediction. If I say Watson has a weak arm I would have been wrong pre-draft it was just a false assessment.
You must have just skimmed my posts looking for something to disagree with or you didn't understand my comments because I specifically explained the aspects of Watson skillset that would allow him to thrive in any offense, including OB's:
How can I be a homer when I expressed both pros and cons (which you've nicely pointed out) of Watson's game?
Isn't that the opposite of homer? I gave a complete assessment of my thoughts of Watson's game....good and bad. That's how balanced evaluations are made an expressed.
