In that scenario, Bryce Young is on the opposite side of the spectrum to MillsI'm guessing they try and find QB's that are very similar, so they don't have to try and change the offense every time someone gets hurt, and they have to change the QB.
Mills can be serviceable with the same improvements, but he really is only backup material. I wouldn't want to rely on him in a championship game.LMAO
But the problem is all on Mills shoulders. SMDH..

We couldn’t even rely on him on the 4th quarter on a regular game, except for that one game with Indy.Mills can be serviceable with the same improvements, but he really is only backup material. I wouldn't want to rely on him in a championship game.

Interesting. Not so much for any potential trade up to #1, but for the teams who might try to leapfrog the Texans were they to trade down with Indy, Seattle or Detroit.NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports there is "significant, significant interest" from other teams in trading for Chicago's No. 1 overall pick.
Rapsheet lays out that the Texans, Colts, Falcons, and Panthers are all expected to have heavy interest in trading up to the No. 1 overall pick. This is not breaking news if you've been following these rumors -- the Colts have been heavily linked to a trade up, the Panthers appear to be choosing between Derek Carr and a trade-up, and the Texans could move up one slot to secure "their guy," whoever that is. The Falcons being added to the conversation is new, but not altogether unsurprising given how Desmond Ridder played down the stretch. It certainly feels like something will come together for the Bears before the draft. (RotoWorld)
Texans re-signed LS Jon Weeks.
I say stay put.Interesting. Not so much for any potential trade up to #1, but for the teams who might try to leapfrog the Texans were they to trade down with Indy, Seattle or Detroit.
WOW!Dude has been playing since Demeco’s last two years as a Texans.
It's likely going to be a high stakes game this draft.I say stay put.
Young is elite in this regard. This is why you draft him and build your offense around him.
Solid time. Can play OLB with that time.
Your safe. You will not have to rely on that.Mills can be serviceable with the same improvements, but he really is only backup material. I wouldn't want to rely on him in a championship game.
Great! As soon as they create a NFL position on the roster called interview, I will get extremely excited.
Let's go Indianapolis! Let's go Indy.NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports there is "significant, significant interest" from other teams in trading for Chicago's No. 1 overall pick.

Wait. The Americans beat the British. So does this mean that Bryce Young won the American Revolution?
Hell yea! Get me Bryce Young on this team!
‘MERICA!
Yeah, if for example Colts trade up for Young, hope others go nuts competing for 1.2 for their QB.Interesting. Not so much for any potential trade up to #1, but for the teams who might try to leapfrog the Texans were they to trade down with Indy, Seattle or Detroit.
Shoulder issues in future no concern?Young is elite in this regard. This is why you draft him and build your offense around him.
You mistook my distortion of the facts incorrectly.
Too late. Now I have visions of Bryce Young crossing the Delaware.
I used "you" in the abstract, meaning any NFL team who were to draft Young. But just me, I'm not so ... intense ... or obsessed... about winning a championship, so no, I have no concerns about the Texans drafting Young.Shoulder issues in future no concern?
Funny, he ran with the linebacker group.
All they’re doing is increasing interest in some other team to jump them in the draft.
But knocking the interviews out of the park will give him the edge of being the best trash-talking QB on the field! With Richardson’s stats…..I’d be trying to crush every interview as well.
I remember Tebow being a big and talented QB. He could throw and run as well. Tebow’s issue was processing NFL coverages. Richardson is similar….with running being his calling card. No thank you, someone else can be pie in the sky.
You're taking for granted that the Texans are going after Young. All they’re doing is increasing interest in some other team to jump them in the draft.
Not the way I would have played it.
I think he should be a LB that often creeps up to the LOS.Funny, he ran with the linebacker group.
I can not tell a lie. I don't think he did?Wait. The Americans beat the British. So does this mean that Bryce Young won the American Revolution?

Worked for Flutie! Although the CFL ain't what it used to be.To play in the CFL?
uh oh.. what did you do? Go ahead. You can tell me. No one will ever know.oops
heck that happens frequently; both the distortion of facts and the mistaking..You mistook my distortion of the facts incorrectly.
Personally, I can handle Young @ 2 with the risks involved there. But agree: If Young is taken @1 I'd rather trade back OR get Will Anderson/Carter (pending legal stuff) then move up from/stand pat @12 to grab the best QB left. I'd also be fine with no QB @1 or @12, but I don't think that's a likely scenario this year.Yeah, if for example Colts trade up for Young, hope others go nuts competing for 1.2 for their QB.
me either.Worked for Flutie! Although the CFL ain't what it used to be.
