It is about the rules. They aren’t the same as back then. You play according to the current most updated rules. This isn't about the rules, this is about the character of players back then and frankly now too.
I'm acting like it's 3 and that 3 for a guy with Al's past is unprecedented.3 games. You’re acting like it’s 10.
His past isn’t a good one. But go on.I'm acting like it's 3 and that 3 for a guy with Al's past is unprecedented.
Which is why I watch much more college football now than I do NFL football. It is about the rules. They aren’t the same as back then. You play according to the current most updated rules.
It is an unprecedented suspension. His past isn’t a good one. But go on.
I knew the league wasn’t about sh*t with the Watson case. It’s never fair. However, most of the nation saw a forearm to the neck that that could have been paralyzing. It happened. It’s over. Winners don’t complain and point the finger, 3 games really isn’t anything. If the players are actually wrapped up in this being fair or not they aren’t going far at all.It is an unprecedented suspension.
I notice you haven't commented on God'ell and Rashee Rice.
As happens with many old men, Runyan grew old, lost his balls, and now rails against young men for playing with the same fire that once made him great. Also have you seen the clips of how Runyan played the game? He would be suspending himself if he was the judge back when he played. In short Runyan is a hypocrite.
None of this makes Al Shaair right. As happens with many old men, Runyan grew old, lost his balls, and now rails against young men for playing with the same fire that once made him great.
That's the way I read it..More whining.
Agreed about Derrick.I knew the league wasn’t about sh*t with the Watson case. It’s never fair. However, most of the nation saw a forearm to the neck that that could have been paralyzing. It happened. It’s over. Winners don’t complain and point the finger, 3 games really isn’t anything. If the players are actually wrapped up in this being fair or not they aren’t going far at all.
His head slammed against the ground with the forearm driving it there. Well, good thing Brady doesn’t make the rules. Except for the Tuck rule. What NFL player has ever been paralyzed by a forearm to the neck?
Dont take this personally, but I choose to value guys like Brady's opinion over yours. 3 games is a lot for a guy that's never been suspended.
Oh well, water under the bridge, hopefully they lay Tua out in retribution.
So the answer is none. His head slammed against the ground with the forearm driving it there.
That’s why I said could have. Watch the play again. It was also a hit to the neck.So the answer is none.
No illegal hit and there would be nothing else to talk about. Not even remotely close to what it’s about.
Your Neanderthal take about laying out Tua is sad and disgusting. The bounty days of the NFL are over, which I bet disappoints you. Why don’t you just stop watching the NFL if your just wanting to see players getting taken out.Agreed about Derrick.

Yes absolutely Steel is right as it definitely seems unreasonable & extreme for a player who has never been suspended previously.I'm acting like it's 3 and that 3 for a guy with Al's past is unprecedented.
Then why 3 why not 2 games?I don't know, I kinda new that the suspension would be kept to include the chiefs game. Not rigged but influenced.
I agree with you but I don’t agree with him using his elbow pad to target the head and neck area. That was indefensible and dirty. That is what got him ejected and 2 games time out. Then add another game for how how be behaved on the field after the foul. I would also strip this fool of his team captaincy.I watched the play many times in real time. Not in slow motion,
He said “I genuinely didn’t see him sliding until it was too late.” And neither did I.
I’m leaving it right there.
Playing the victim card is a natural defense mechanism when you are desperate and know you are at fault.I’m still trying to understand why he believes racism and moosluum fear is to blame for his situtation. The victim card has been played so you better

Christmas. The league doesn't want people talking about this on the first Netflix Christmas game. Then why 3 why not 2 games?

They are playing the Chiefs and the Ravens. Then why 3 why not 2 games?
Targetting head and neck area is illegal and has been for a long time in NFLAzeez employed a technique known as the Forearm-Shiver.
I don't think that technique has been explicitly ruled illegal in the NFL as of this time ?
I could care less what you watch and tapeApparently you're having problems reading, I've cut way back on watching NFL football. I tape most of the Texans games and watch them later
I don't watch football to see people get laid out, but if God'ell isn't going to be fair in his punishment, then players need to take things into their own hands. I know I would pitch in to help cover any fines.
BTW, don't be confused and think I give a crap about your opinions of me.
Caserio was correct in saying that the NFL is full of BS for the inconsistencies in the way suspensions are handled.Tell that to Nick Caserio.
and him saying that publicly won’t help them be any more “consistent” lol. He got away with a closed fist punch. Nick just sounds like he is whining.Caserio was correct in saying that the NFL is full of BS for the inconsistencies in the way suspensions are handled.
Nothing but love here man.I could care less what you watch and tape
I am old school too and a fan of Tua and just don’t want any more concussions for him. Another concussion and he is done.Nothing but love here man.
We just disagree on if the league office is going to be unfair in how they dole out punishment then players will need to take things into their own hands. Of course I'm an old school football fan and the NFL isn't marketing to me any longer.
If he gets a concussion against the Texans you can blame this on the league office.I am old school too and a fan of Tua and just don’t want any more concussions for him. Another concussion and he is done.
For what? For intentionally hurting someone? If he gets a concussion against the Texans you can blame this on the league office.
For an unprecedented punishment. For what? For intentionally hurting someone?

if they suspended him an extra game for the “scrum” after the play then should the league also be handing out fines and 1 game suspensions for all the Jag players involved as well?I agree with you but I don’t agree with him using his elbow pad to target the head and neck area. That was indefensible and dirty. That is what got him ejected and 2 games time out. Then add another game for how how be behaved on the field after the foul. Are you saying you wishes he sustains another concussion because of the Al Shaair suspension? For an unprecedented punishment.
I agree he has had too many concussions and shouldn’t be allowed to play.I would say for allowing him to play. They should have suspended him indefinitely due to health reasons. It’s been 4 or 5 concussions in as many years. I’m not a doctor but I stayed at a Holiday Inn once. This won’t end well for him.
The NFL considered him the instigatorif they suspended him an extra game for the “scrum” after the play then should the league also be handing out fines and 1 game suspensions for all the Jag players involved as well?
If he gets concussed by the Texans, I would suggest increasing Azeez suspension to another a few games!!I agree he has had too many concussions and shouldn’t be allowed to play.
Why? He won't be playingIf he gets concussed by the Texans, I would suggest increasing Azeez suspension to another a few games!!
Has the NFL ever done that before?I would say for allowing him to play. They should have suspended him indefinitely due to health reasons. It’s been 4 or 5 concussions in as many years. I’m not a doctor but I stayed at a Holiday Inn once. This won’t end well for him.
The guy who got hit is out for season and the guy who illegally hit him ...3 games?Yes absolutely Steel is right as it definitely seems unreasonable & extreme for a player who has never been suspended previously.
I do admit the optics are bad (TL being literally knocked out & knocked out of the remainder of the game, and finally IRed for the rest of the '24 season).
But I'm afraid that players like Al Shair & teams like the Texans are gonna continue to take it up
the azz in these kinds of situations in the leagues interest, reasonable or not, to protect their QBs: the suspension comes at the worst possible time of the season for both - why not defer one or two of the game suspensions until the beginning of the '25 season ?
Azeez employed a technique known as the Forearm-Shiver.
I don't think that technique has been explicitly ruled illegal in the NFL as of this time ?
Then you would have people complaining about why no explanation. I liked his commentsThe guy who got hit is out for season and the guy who illegally hit him ...3 games?
IMO, Paul Bunyon aka Jon Runyon should have not written that ridiculous letter but just stated "suspension three games approved". He just added gasoline to the fire.
