Slow has been inconsistent I will admit but the successes of the offense aren't just because of our franchise Qb. With a fully healthy offense and solid play from the offensive line at times Slow came out smelling like roses. I am not ready to anoint Slow the next genius OC but under the circumstances I am not ready to run him out on a
rail either. Losing sucks anytime but especially with the playoffs being within reach! We far exceeded expectations so our whole team should only get better. Slow as well. Let's not all overreact!

Looks around at just about every bit of talent on this team that is either out or nicked up. Playing a team that is 9-5 with one of the best defenses in the league. Concerned with the health of some people around here acting like Meco and Slowick are supposed to cook against a better team with all that missing talent. One year away from a 3-win season and still in rebuild mode with huge talent gaps even without the injuries. Trying to keep their rare generational QB talent safe and not rush him back. Yet already got them to more wins than the last two years combined and can still have a WINNING record for the year.

But you're probably a "next man up" and "no excuses" kind of guy, so you do you, as unrealistic as it is.

The play calling today has been trash period.
 
Down 21 going into the 4th quarter……time to get Mills into the game and hope like hail he’d like to duplicate Clint “The Mad Bomber” Longley. Spread offense with 3 WR’s (Collins, Brown, and Woods) and TE, Schultz.
 
Cleveland with no punter or kicker and they still managed to score 28 points. :smiliepalm:

Say it all you want. You’re not wrong. I’m just pointing out that it’s happing during a season where we are all trying to figure out where the magic is coming from and where the weird **** is coming from. Did the Texans offense begin dropping off before all the injuries? Yeah, a little bit but not much. Pretty much we were coming from a bunch of injuries from day one and as they started coming back other players began getting hurt. It’s going to take some serious white board work on Kirby to untangle everything that happened this year when it’s all over.
 
Cleveland better watch it now. Mills is in, getting our receivers killed.
