This team is still crap since Nick inherited a 4-12 team.Nick was far more involved in the hiring of Ryans. Nick and DeMeco appear to be a solid team with a common vision on how they’re going to make the Texans a much better team going forward. Some on this board just saw their agenda get flushed down the crapper and don’t like it all. Makes you wonder as to who they’re really rooting for….maybe it’s themselves.
30th in scoring, 31st in yards.
27th in points allowed, 30th in yards allowed.
All of this was going on under Caserio's watch.
There has to be accountability.
Rick Smith, in his second year found a Duane Brown with 26th pick.
Slaton, at 89 (which is a late third), ended his rookie year with 1,657 total yards and 10 TDs.
He was able to trade for or found FAs like Schaub, Vonta Leach, Chris Myers (on the cheap), Briesel, K Walter (60 catches and 922 total yards), Andre Davis (3 return TDs, 30 plus yards average).
And this doesn't even count the 2006 draft as it was Casserly's.
How does Caserio's early record compare to that.
...
All that said, I hope Caserio grows as a GM with a more stable coaching situation.
For everyone's sake.
I'm tired of all this losing.
