T- Trevor Penning (NIU) on the left in RD1 and T- Andrew Stueber (MI) on the right in RD3 or RD4. Both guys are big run blockers who finish off what’s in front of them. If Zion Johnson or Kenyon Green could be added in RD2, then there’d be enough pieces for Warhop to completely revamp the OL into his vision.

A big priority for Caserio would be to find a couple of new horses to take advantage of the upgraded OL.
 
We need a game wrecker on that defensive front. That’s the first pick I’m going with. Then I’m selecting some weapons after that. I’m hoping Cincinnati will give us that late first round pick and late third round pick for Tunsil. Then I can snatch up a offensive linemen with our third round pick.
I was pretty impressed with how our make shift offensive line performed in the last five games. I will give them guys another go at it for continuity/ chemistry purposes.

Then you can expect the offense to continue to suck. The only decent defense they played was the 49ers and predictably they got shutdown. It won't be because of coaching either.

Do we have a new OC? Will we be running a new offensive scheme? Wasn’t it you bragging about Mills progressions? How in the hell do you think kept him upright in those last five games? I don’t care who they played, wasn’t they going up against NFL professional defensive linemen.

Man can we stop being so dismissive. Season hasn’t even started yet. Those guys you want might not even be there for the taken and it’s not a guarantee they’ll pan out.

Trevor Penning is the best player in draft IMO. I would be happy fan if we can offload Tunsil and his contract then snag Penning.

Unless the ol improves the offense is going to look the same. Look at how Ingram looked running behind the Saints ol last yr vs the Calhoun's ol.

The only reasons the offense looked better is because Mills improved and they played weaker defenses at the end of the season. Fix the ol and you will have a better run game. Then you will see more games like the Chargers game.

There will be talent ol available.
 
I voted Aiden Hutchinson because I see him as a J.J. Watt type who could be the face of a franchise as well as a great player. I also see edge rusher as our biggest need.
However, if the opportunity arises I hope that we trade back to acquire more draft capital in rounds 2-4. This is a deep draft with good players available throughout, especially edge rushers. With the numerous needs we have I hope to get 10 - 11 picks that result in 1 or 2 stars and 4 - 5 solid contributors.

The Jags selection at #1 might have become a little clearer with the franchise tag placed on LT Cam Robinson. Does that mean they are moving away from the O-line? Not necessarily. It could mean the Jags are leaning towards Ikem Ekwonu, but realize Icky needs a year of development while playing OG before becoming Lawrence's blindside protector.

Something to consider. The odds Evan Neal dropping to #3 have increased.

It was just a comment on a poster thinking Green might fall to 2-37. I still think Green goes in the 1st. Or atleast he should. IMHO

There are some national pundits who suggest Texans might take the best QB available but I left that option out as there are a few to consider there and personally, I really don't see that happening - Caserio will likely use one of his next picks on one if he does as most of the top 5 or six are pretty even.

I’m changing my mind and thinking the Texans could trade back while adding RD2 picks.

I’d hold onto the 3 pick if both Watson and Tunsil are moved b/c they’d both add a RD1 pick at minimum for 2022. I should preface this statement with….the 3 pick could be in play depending on how the first two selections go and where the RD1 picks from Watson and Tunsil fall in RD1.

Watson has cleared the biggest hurdle of all and can now focus on which team he’ll be suiting up for in 2022. That could change everything in regards to the picks the Texans receive in a trade. For me….there’s only a few teams that’ll be in play:

1. Bucs **Need a QB**
2. Seahawks **Same**
3. Eagles **They claimed they’d build around Hurts…now Watson is clear. So, we’ll see.**
4. Giants **Same, but for Jones.**

Browns could get in the mix, but Mayfield has to be gone and they’ve already lost Keenum.

Buc doesn’t have the draft capital we’re looking for.

Seahawks really doesn’t either.

Eagles: Hurt has removed them from his Twitter account. Good chance they’re in a bid for Watson.

Giants looks to be holding onto Jones for sure.

Panthers might be the front runner.

I actually did a late night 3 round Mock with Watson having been traded to the Bucs. Just a mental exercise to see what if. My first move in this trade included the Texans receiving WR, Mike Evans as part of the package based on the Bucs draft position. Texans would also receive their RD1-27 and RD2-59. There would be additional picks in 2023 and 2024.

I still included the trading of Tunsil, Cooks, and #3 pick. A team in the Texans position must be shrewd and savvy in their dealings to gain the most in each move. They’ve got really good assets to make this happen.

With the Bucs (based on Wilson trade to Denver) I would insist on Wirfs, Winfield and Trask. Along with (3) 1st RDs plus.

Looks like at least for now it's the Browns, Saints and the Panthers. Maybe by tomorrow others hopefully including the Eagles will be involved.

Who is Evans?

Give me Sauce and Walker, hold onto Tunsil if he wants to play here and draft a OG in the 3rd rd, plus add a vet OG in FA. Fix the defense and OL in 2 moves.

It would only take a couple of upgrades on both sides of the ball and this team will improve significantly.
We have plenty of draft picks and shots at FA to get even more than that too.
Add a stud RB and WR plus a decent safety and this team could easily hit nine games this season.
Finding a decent RT would be a nice piece to add also.

Most definitely, I just hope if the Texans doesn’t get what some posters want. They don’t doom them a failure.

Fix the OL and secondary and I will be happy. Add a RB in fa and one in the draft late.

Depends on if they win. If they don't and the guys I liked were available and doing well. You can bet that I will point it out.

Same as I did with RS and his picks after Rd 1.
