Sexual Assault Suits Against Watson

Almost 40 massage therapists that we know of? All women? He’s definitely got some fetish going on.

What I don’t get is why he just doesn’t go to those “happy ending” Asian massage parlors. He could ask for anything in those places without offending anyone. They’re not hard to differentiate from the legit places.
I think the dude is into some serious submissive ****, honestly, rather than having a happy-ending fetish. If that is his thing, he should have hired a dominatrix or two. I'm sure he did, but pros don't talk.

I do wonder what percentage of the pro-DeShaun girls and victims are either sex workers or groupies, vs. legit massage professionals. Being a SW or a groupie doesn't make a woman any less of a victim, but the whole stable of "therapists" is interesting.

Comment I as well as others are wondering from this article....

“Ok, so this is a total of 39 different massage therapists so far? He is innocent until proven otherwise. He’s been in the league four seasons and went to at least 39 different massage therapists outside of any provided by the training staff for the team. He must really enjoy or need them.”
He is 18 out of 39, I bet he picks it up in the 2nd half. :texanbill:

more importantly he’s going to all these different masseuses and he’s got access to trainers at the facility to give him massages as well. I’m sure as the star qb, he could easily get to the top of the list anytime he needed to..

I am going to predict $100,000 for each and Watson pays Court costs. Probably more for those he allegedly raped. I still think a settlement before draft day. I do not think Kevin Costner had to deal with any of this.
Hopefully you're right.

I'm thinking it's going to cost DW4 his signing bonus when you take into account the lawyer fees.

But hey, Hardin will deserve the money if he can keep DW4 out of jail.

You're always going to fail when you try to figure out the mind of a perv.

BTW, I would never draft Fields because he's represented by Mulagetta and his QB coach is Avery. This shows a lack of judgement by Fields. No way I'm dealing with this trash after the DW4 experience.

I'm to the point now where I just hope he's eventually tradeable for something. If he doesn't get kicked out of the NFL permanently. Has that ever been done?

I really dont care if they get anything for him if he's found guilty in a criminal court of law. If he's a predator he needs to do yrs of hard labor time.

I dont think a player has been permanently banned. Rae Carruth

I bet that’s going to bite them in the butt. If Buzbee can establish Watson had sex with even one of them he’ll paint it as Watson expected sex & that’s going to be a problem.
Well hopefully none of the 18 would have come forward if they had had sex with him. I think Hardin will be able to handle things going forward. Both attorneys have played this as I have expected. I think the claims against Deshaun are coming to an end if it has not already and now it's time for Rusty to do his thing.

let’s say Watson settles in these lawsuits. What is his trade value? I don’t expect we would garner more than 2 firsts and maybe some 2nds/3rds. His squeaky clean image would be gone and a franchise doesn’t know if they can really trust him.

I predict average of $250K each for about a $5M settlement. $100K for minimal cases and $500K for larger cases. Of course Buzbee gets over $1M of the $5M. Watson pays all legal fees as well.

Nothing says "I'm innocent and don't have a problem at all" like 15 MORE chicks or whatever it was coming out and saying "oh yeah he visited us and everything was fine!!"

I don’t think HOU would even consider Fields even if they could draft him, for the reasons you stated above and he’s got a slow processor. I think he could be good, but he needs to go to the right situation and the right coach-mentor. And yes, his decisions leave me with a bad taste.

Then you will see the other lawsuits come out of the woodwork. Trust me. There’s girls that went to Clemson just waiting with their own lawyers to attack. This is just the 1st wave. Watsons going to be dealing with this for years.

I get that but if you're career is dependent upon deviant Behavior that Watson projected that is a poor decision on your part. Many if not most of us have had to make decisions during our careers. You have to live with those decisions. Again I am not removing Watson from his horrific charges.

My career isn't dependent upon his deviant behavior at all.

My career is at risk because he is a very influential individual who didn't get what he wanted , regardless if what he wanted was reasonable.

High profile individual leaves you a poor review and you are toast thru absolutely no fault of your own.

The only thing you can do to avoid that is to know in advance that he expects something unreasonable and how the hell do you expect someone to do that ?

Your take is completely unreasonable because a high profile individual could make or break just about anyone from an profession. That's the way of the world in these days of social media.

I don’t know that I agree, everything we’ve seen points to this being something within the last 1-2 years. Maybe it was the money, maybe it was the fame, maybe it was Hopkins, maybe it was always there and he just figures he could get away with it now. Either way if there was a bunch of skeletons in his closet I think they would have come out now.

Thats what people keep forgetting, most of these women are young and, assuming they are a real therapist, they are trying to start/run a business in an industry that was almost completely destroyed by covid restrictions. Watson is not the kind of client you just "walk out" on as he can make or break you with one tweet. All someone has to do is think back on their life and career and I'm sure we all have at least one time where we were uncomfortable or didn't want to do something or it was unsafe or even did it knowing it wasn't really right but we did it anyway because we had families to feed and bills to pay and if we didn't then both of those things would be in doubt.
That is a great point! Imagine how many of these women had lost the vast majority of their business due to covid. They were desperate for any business they could get.

What gets to me is if people need proof all they have to do is read any of the comments of articles, YouTube or anything else talking about this. Most of them are lunching back and forth between calling the women gold diggers and saying it’s all a plan by the Texans. That’s how much people like Watson are worshipped by the masses.

Now imagine if the women’s names were revealed the level of harassment they and their families and business would get.

Deshaun Watson finds support from 18 women amid sexual misconduct allegations
There are nearly two dozen civil lawsuits against the Texans quarterback claiming sexual misconduct

As far as Buzbee being accused of "playing games" in the media.............by this last move, Hardin can be seen as no different............they both see it as just something that comes with being an attorney in a high profile case.

I'm sure, Hardin could have easily brought in similar supportive "testimonials" from persons that interacted with a mild-mannered, well-respected business man, murderer of 33 John Wayne Gasy.............at least, from the thousands that Gasy might have left alive following contact.
Exactly, I bet Bonnie and Clyde even visited some banks they didn't rob.

That happens to women when the guy isn't even rich and famous. It is sadly much safer for women to do civil suits to get something resembling justice, than to be dragged through the mud on something that probably won't end in a conviction. You will always see the ignorant "gold digger" label attached.

Like we have both said before, the Texan conspiracy thing is very popular right now.

Just to clarify the "your position" was plural not directed at you. If anyone gives an unfavorable review for not giving him oral sex or anything else, you can give your side. I just don't get why you think a person should be forced into doing something like that just to improve their career. I am not trying to make this about the women so I'm going to let this go as I don't want to shift Focus in any manner away from Deshaun Watson and what he may have done.

First....if Watson and Dardin know without a doubt that Watson is innocent, then they're going to have to ride this out until a court decision is rendered. If Watson loses the civil case and Dardin agrees to a settlement.....the only chance Watson has of keeping his NFL career relevant is coming out immediately with a public apology and the fact he has learned from his mistakes and will seek help with his disorder. This cannot be an issued statement a week or weeks later.....it must be immediate.

For putting the Texans in the precarious situation that offers far more damage than hope, Watson must accept the penalty that the NFL will certainly dole out and waive his NTC so the Texans can move on from this publicity nightmare.

That accuser "Mary" being outside of Buzbee's dog-and-pony show makes her sound even more credible.

The "casting couch" has always been a huge problem in the entertainment industry, which is usually in the same ballpark of what you describe.

So here's how I look at it:
Half the girls say he was professional, the other half not so much.
So you have 2 kinds of masuses, you have the centerfold ones working on North IH45 where the buildings are all lit up in the evening, and the other ones that work in professional bldgs along side of doctors that are career Masuses. They are the ones that are the professionals, 55 yrs old, could hold their own in a ditch with the other highway dept employees digging for a living, they aren't centerfolds, but the ones I would go to for a good massage. My guess is that he treated those as professionals and thats why they said there was no problems with Deshaun. The ones on IH45 were the Centerfold types and the ones he was rubbing up against and causing the litigation against him. Don't know why he wouldn't use the Massage therapist at the Texans facility rather that put himself out there like that. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!

He didn’t want to use those trainers. Just imagine if he did. **** would’ve made him and the Texans look egregious if that inappropriate stuff would’ve leaked out.

A friend of mine used to work for Hilarie Burton's production company. The showrunner was a huge perv to Hilarie for years. She wanted to quit, but had to worry about her career being ruined, and had to worry about her employees. According to my friend, Hilarie is a class act, and she still had to put up with that ****.

A pretty good rundown of it, which sounds familiar.

Another recent example is Joss Whedon and what is just now coming out about how he treated the actresses on his shows particularly Buffy and that was over 20 years ago. Depending on what industry you are in there is always someone that can destroy your life with a word.

Think about this, if a professional athlete on Watson’s level says that person X did a horrible job and that no one should go to them for a massage and then that person comes back and says Watson tried to get her to do things she was uncomfortable with who are you going to believe?

One of the reasons even now people don’t believe this is because of Watson’s previous immaculate character record. Yeah to say that the women should have “just left” is to simplify this to the point of not even being realistic.
