You missed the point. Watson was supposed to abide by the NFL and Texans COVID protocols regardless of how he felt about it. He was not to engage in reckless behavior.

Soliciting the Swedish massages from 20+ Instagram licensed and unlicensed massage therapists would probably fit in that description.

LOL. I can’t say thats ever happened. If it did I’d terminate the session immediately. I don‘t have people get undressed. I ask people to wear loose fitting clothes. The work I do usually involves movement. For example if I’m working on a leg I’ll have someone perform some exercises before and after to see if we’ve gotten any improvement
 
So we know little about the demographic characteristics of the plaintiffs other than their gender, right ?
So it occurs to me that if they are primarily white, with the George Floyd trial just now beginning what we have then is a potential PR advantage for Watson because I can almost imagine a caricature of Tony Busbee with his knee on the neck of a prone and helpless DW4.

Of the first twelve lawsuits filed, 7 of the ladies were Black, 3 White, and 2 Hispanic. Not sure the ethnicities of the others.
 
I knew this would happen. Darius Leonard of the Colts has gone public & said there's a double standard, comparing coverage of Watson to Chad Wheeler. Big difference, no one ever heard of Chad Wheeler, but Deshaun Watson is nearly a household name!

I'm curious, I've seen several people making comments in regards to Hopkins, what has he done? I'm not defending anyone here, I've simply not heard (encountered) any stories about Hopkins (or Hopkins & Watson). Help ? :)

Rumor is Hopkins was traded because he was a bad influence on Watson
 
No that's kinda part of the conspiracy. Rumor is Watsons mom called the Texans about DH being a bad influence and leading her son astray, maybe involved with hookers or such, so DH was traded. But now with everything coming out it brings up the point was is DH or was it DW And he told momma it was DH leading to the reported phone call better a star Texan player's mom and the front office.

Like anybody was going to build an offense around those guys and who was in charge of getting QB's? According to those who know under Kubiak, that would've been RS.

I've heard through back channels BOB tried to do this and he failed, then Cal hired Easterby. Easterby was hired while Gaine was GM and Easterby was a Cal hire.

The problem with drafting a sexual deviant at best and a sexual predator at worst is you can try all of the things you listed and more and you wont change their behavior. Janice after talking to DW4's mom and DW4's mom probably telling Janice that DW4 would straighten up if they would get rid of Hopkins was the Texans orgs last gap effort to try to help DW4 and we all know how this is turning out.

Nope, the issue was drafting DW4 in the 1st place and that fell directly on RS. The Texans org is going to suffer another 3-4 yrs because of that 1 decision RS made that nobody else in the draft room obviously wanted him to make.

BTW, we haven't heard from the smartest man in the room lately. (RS) and all of his bragging about the drafting of a sexual deviant.
 
Hopkins forced his way out by asking for a raise. He wanted out because he was done with Bill O’Brien and that offense. Then the rumors started coming out. The bad influence and baby momma drama

It's not just rumor. Watson's mother initially approached O'Brien, after which they both took it to the FO/McNair.

Hopkins was traded before Watson asked out. The baby mama drama stuff came out then. The Watson’s mom called Cal’s Mom came out right after that.

1. Rick Smith would get the players OB asked for. OB asked for the NE castoffs in Mallett and Hoyer. Also, OB said he was in on the decision to get Osweiller. That’s 100% on OB. Rick Smith would trade draft picks for players like Jalen Strong because that’s what OB wanted. The drafting strategy was night and day from Kubiak to OB. Rick Smith was in charge of getting the players OB wanted and OB wanted crap and couldn’t turn those turds into nothing else but what they were - turds.

2. OB has come out and said he wanted DW too so that’s a mute point. Who was better? Trubisky? Cmon man. At the end of the day OB was trying to figure a job that was too big for him. He couldn’t manage offense or the players.

3. Drafting a sexual deviant? Was that on the draft report? I missed it.

You obviously have never dealt with addicts or addiction so let’s get real like you knew he was one.

Addictions come in a variety of forms such as soda, alcohol, cigarettes, sex, meth, drugs, etc. You get introduced and some people get more hooked than others.

Addiction is a real sickness. Watson is really sick. He needs help.

Out of curiosity, instead of O'Brien and his bull in the China shop personality, did the character coach provide any counseling or stage an intervention before escalating to the McNairs? Maybe the more polished, character coach would have worded the "rumored" conversation with Hopkins a little different than baby mommas and Aaron Hernandez.

Concerns were addressed appropriately behind closed doors by others in the organization. O'Brien's single "interaction" was the only one reported. And the O'Brien comment re. Hopkins having too much control in the locker room was misleading and misreported...........as it related specifically to Hopkins and his apparent bad influence on Watson. Unfortunately as relates to the many involved Texans "characters," too many times, fans and media give the white hats to the "villains" and the black hats to the "good guys."

One reason is that a lot of people that side with MeToo still believe the whole thing is a hoax to destroy Watson.

Conversely, a lot of people that thought MeToo was full of **** back in the day now believe these accusations wholeheartedly.

I find both to be fascinating really.

Not so much fascinating as disingenuous, when MeToo has immediately backed others that alleged but demonstrated no proof of sexual assault.

“The one thing I keep thinking about is, he’s about to get traded to another place,” Mary says. “What if he goes to Atlanta or California or anywhere else? He would have a whole new community of massage therapists to target.” Moreover, Watson’s blanket denial of ever treating women with disrespect helped spur Mary to speak up and lend her voice as a witness. “More than anything, the fact that he’s denying all the allegations makes it more of a reason for us to use our voice and say what we have to say,” she says.

Mary also wants the information she is sharing to spur Watson to get help, and to be used in a way that helps establish a higher respect level for the massage therapy profession, which she and many of her colleagues entered into with the goal of helping people. “I just want a genuine apology, for us and our community, for putting us in these situations where we don't know what to do,” she says. “There are so many people that are against us, saying, ‘Why would he do that? He has no reason to do that. He has a beautiful girlfriend; he has this, this, this and this.’ All of those things are true, but fame doesn't create character.”

Mary makes clear that Watson did not touch her, nor did he force her into conducting any sexual acts. But she says he did engage in behavior that was both inappropriate and unlike any other interaction she’s had with any of her more than 1,000 clients—including other professional athletes—in her several years working as a massage therapist...

She used the oversize towel to drape him until about 45 minutes into the session, when she says he tossed the towel onto the floor, saying it was too itchy. Watson was lying face up on the table, naked and totally uncovered, something Mary says has never happened during any of her other massage appointments. “I was in shock,” Mary says. She proceeded with the massage without the towel, knowing that her payment was coming from another therapist. “I trusted the therapist that referred him to me that nothing weird was going to happen.”

After 90 minutes, Watson asked to extend the session for another hour. She continued to work only on his quads, inner thighs and abdomen—the specific areas he requested. Watson developed an erection, she says, and also began clenching and slowly “thrusting the air.” Mary at first wondered whether his movements were a pain response to her deep-tissue work, so she asked whether he was O.K. She says he replied that he was fine and stopped thrusting for a short time. Mary learned during her massage training that erections can develop as a relaxation response. She recalls situations in the past when that’s happened to a client while they dozed off; they usually become embarrassed when they realize it and start talking about something random to divert their thoughts. If that doesn’t work, she’ll sometimes switch to a more painful massage technique. But Watson’s behavior indicated to her that “his intentions were different.” She adds, “There was one point that he did tell me that I could move [his penis] if I needed to, and I just completely ignored him.” She took this as a suggestion to touch his exposed penis.

Watson stayed on his back for the entire session. While massaging his abdomen, Mary says she noticed “different fluids on his stomach.” She remembers questioning whether it was really pre-ejaculate, telling herself, This can’t be what I think it is. DHop was already on thin ice, not practicing, concerns about his off-the-field activities, plus the negative (perceived or not) influence on DW4...

when one day he did or said something offensive in Janice's presence

I find the hypocrisy from both "sides" on this fascinating, to clarify. The MeToo silence is off-putting, but it is equally strange to see people that called for "innocent until proven guilty" or accusers liars, now believe everything without question.
