Sexual Assault Suits Against Watson

So the same team that needed to get rid of DHop ASAP because of behavior less damning than these accusations, weren't even going to listen to trade offers for DW to make sure he stayed on the team? Either 'Texans worthy' needs a reexamination around here or the team didn't know about these accusations like they said they didn't.
Or... the assumption about why Hopkins was traded has been misconstrued.

The story is some one contacted Watson's mom about Hopkins, the bad influence. She in turned called Cal's mom. Cals mom made the decision to get rid of Hopkins. Bill O'Brien made it happen. & as far as I know Cal was shocked when he found out there were teams that didn't know Hopkins was on the table.

So it starts with Hopkins being a bad influence. Technically not the same as not being Texans worthy. Take away his influence on Watson & he could still be here.

Then we don't know the directive was "at all cost" that might have been O'Brien sticking it to Cal... I believe the stories about Buffalo or other teams not knowing came out right about the same time as 0-4

I'm not going to be surprised in the least if many of these women are IG babes with 1000 near nude pics. A high profile athlete slides into their DMs and suddenly they're a masseuse that's getting flown in from who knows where. Lots of wink wink language gets used like 'I don't want a regular sports massage' and 'you'll be the only one there, right?' and there's expectations going into it of what's really going down. He probably pulled it off a hundred times and got a couple that were real masseuses that didn't catch onto the wink wink stuff and they came forward. Now all the wink wink girls are going to capitalize ($) and come forward like they were just like those real masseuses that got victimized.

I'm not saying this to defend Watson. He played the game and it looks like he's going to get burnt and he deserves it. Just sayin that I think it's a little naive to not know that there was a game going on here that many of these women most likely played willingly.

You're contradicting yourself, if Buzbee is just after the attention then he wants it to go to a court room. If he is doing this to try and make a political run then this is the absolute worst possible way to get people to vote for you. He even said himself he has never been part of a case where so many random people attacked him and his family. Say what you want about Buzbee but he needs neither the money nor the attention, he has plenty of both and he doesn't take cases unless he smells blood in the water.

We talk about the timing being weird but that has a flip side in how isn't it weird that seemly out of the blue Watson wanted traded? We all talked about how it didn't seem to make sense and there must be something else going on but when something like this comes out the automatic response of most people is defend Watson and create this grand conspiracy.
I'm just curious as to how the first and maybe also the secon accuser came to find Buzbee.
Do you or anybody have a theory?
Strictly curiosity here.

Its a good question, if I had to guess I would say that she brought it to an attorney, most likely a shall we say lesser known one, and they looked at the case and realized it was a career maker or breaker. Maybe they didn't think they were ready, maybe they feared the backlash, which according to Buzbee has been huge, or maybe they weren't sure there was a case but they then referred her to Buzbee. Kind of like your family doctor referring you to a specialist. Buzbee got it, saw that there was something to this and starting seeing if anyone else out there had a similar experience so he put some feelers out, no pun intended. By the time the second and third one came forward he really saw something and was open about telling people to present their story and contact his law office. Not to different from all those class action lawsuit letters we all get in the mail. That is completely my theory with nothing at all to back it up.

Yea you gotta wonder what SI and all the other haters in the media that jumped on the wagon to get their pound of flesh are thinking right about now.....kinda quiet right now actually

There is nothing about this Watson story that dismisses the SI stories. They can both be true (as well as both be false).

Funny thing is both stories have unidentified sources making the claims.

And there is still nothing in Easterby's professional background that indicates that he is at all qualified to be an Executive Vice President of Football Operations for an NFL franchise.

That's possible. But it still means that they stuck w/ DW knowing what he was accused of and Texans worthy is a load of crap.

I think the ladies run in the same circles and one talked to another and shared their experiences and one was mad enough to talk to an attorney. Mean while the circle of ladies started talking about the one seeing an attorney and then they said they had the same experience or knew of someone who did. Buzbee is smart enough to let her know that she needed to find others so that her story would have weight and not be dismissed. So the first one went talking to the others and boom. Here we are.

Texans worthy has always been a load of crap that people around here bought hook, line and sinker. Its proof that if one person repeats something enough then others will start to believe it. No member of the McNairs or any front office or coach ever said anything about Texans worthy. That was Schaub talking about a guy that kicked him in the groin joining the team.

Most likely.
Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall sometimes?

Details through Profootballtalk

I ask my wife to massage my inappropriate areas.... I’m not getting sued, but I’m not getting my inappropriate areas “massaged” either!!

9 women is pretty concerning. It won't be hard for those taking the case to figure out the details. Just googling the phone numbers will determine if they were legitimate masseurs or sex workers, I am sure that has already been done. If they were all masseurs there will likely be a decent amount of hush texts that will be brought forward also. From outsider looking in, it seems very likely Watson has an addiction problem but didn't want to risk his reputation by hiring straight up sex workers so he would book attractive legit masseurs and try to turn it into something else. As others said, most athletes keep there trusted masseurs on a short list, they have to much to risk trusting their bodies to numerous different people. If Watson was soliciting massages from numerous different legitimate masseurs frequently his intentions are pretty damning in itself.

And to your point, that may have been what the Texans advised him to do & he wasn’t trying to hear it... “you don’t have to admit anything..but you do have to get out in front of this before it blows up in your face...” and rather listen to them, he chose to listen to his agent and other players in his ear about “what the Texans are trying to do”...I bet he listening now tho.

As we can see there’s no more cryptic lyrical tweets coming from him. Exactly, the Texans knew about this and tried to help the youngster out. He got butt hurt and started crying and bleeping to his agent and closes friends. Now neither one of those guys are speaking on his behalf.

Just typed 'masseuse' into my instagram account and the top 30 results are sexually provocative NSFW profiles. Are these legit masseuses? Not in my book. But in a lawsuit they get to say that they're a masseuse. Doesn't take a whole lot of guesswork to surmise that these were the type of 'masseuses' that DW was working with. But people are going to believe what they want to.

9 now and 4 in the works according to Albright

From the information I have, there are 15 total accusers that we will hear about shortly.

Has anyone bothered to ask themselves............why was Rusty chosen to represent Watson?.............should be quite curious in itself...............Rusty is not a civil attorney...........he is a criminal attorney............the reason for the choice will reveal itself in the near future.

If you are the Texans front office, how do you protect the brand at this point? And if you are Deshaun’s agent, how do you help your client?

What a friggin mess!!

If I’m Texans I keep letting it ride, I don’t condemn him but I don’t support him either I just let things take their course and keep my mouth shut. Allegations against Watson don’t hurt the brand near as much as him wanting traded after just signing so the damage is done. Honestly at this point all this is kind of helping them to repair the brand because people are starting to question if the Texans are the problem or if Watson was. Oh you still have some that think it’s a big conspiracy against him but those people weren’t going to buy a ticket anyway. Texans need to sit back, keep taking care of other business and let the courts and NFL do their thing.

As far as how to help him as his agent first thing I do is stay off Twitter and keep my mouth shut. Next thing I do is make sure all his checks have cleared and I’m not owed money because his financial situation might be changing. Lastly, pray, lots and lots of praying........then record me praying and send it to Easterby because that might be the only chance of playing anytime soon he has. :troll:

So it's a money grab then and Watson solicits prostitutes. OK.

Oh ouch, good catch CnD, that flew right over my head I just knew him as big league lawyer.

That was my immediate thought when I heard that Rusty was going to represent Watson.

Not true at all, my friend's wife is a masseur and she is as far from a hooker as you can get. Even the ones mostly staffed by people of Asian descent are mostly legitimate businesses. Working out of your home is becoming much more common in this field as well because equipment wise you don't need much as most clients get use to a person and they follow them if they leave a business to start their own. The relationship between a masseur, real one, and a client is similar to that of a doctor and patient. They learn your body and can very easily hurt you so there is trust that has to be built up.

Listen to Shannon Sharp on his show with Skip Bayless talk about the masseur he has had since 1999. He flies her in for a week every other month and for 3 hours a day that week they do an intense regiment. Most athletics that can afford it have that. Believe me if you've ever had a deep massage for knotted or injured muscles sex is the last thing on your mind. Mostly its "Why am I paying this sadist to do this to me?"
Alright I learned something there, thanks for schooling me on some things about the occupation of being a masseur.
Actually my wife went to a masseur once, who was 70-year-old VM woman with a business here in Clear Lake, and my wifes experience was much as you describe it in the last sentence of your comments above.

What's your point?
What's yours? I took your post to imply you don't think this is on Watson. So that would mean that instead of being a pervert who forces things, he solicits prostitutes. Prostitutes where he still can't get a happy ending at that.

Good question. I think that’s the fuel for the conspiracy angle.

this is where I’m leaning. But these women have NOTHING to lose or risk. Watson put himself in this predicament and this is what happens when you make suchstupid decisions.
