Head Coach Candidates

No doubt the job is EB’s if he wants it. No other way out for the franchise at this point.

however, it is a bit concerning that no other team gave him serious consideration...again this year. that is the only reason I think he takes this job even with all of the pitfalls that may come with it.

I'm not talking anything from Mahomes. He's a bada55. But I wonder how they'd have done without Kelce. Without Hill. Kinda like Tannehill without Henry.

But wherever Bieniemy goes, he's not bringing Kelce. He's not bringing Hill. He's not bringing Mahomes.

Just like Patriot coaches did not bring TB12. It's the same thing.

So Nick has to be sure what he's buying. A good coach, I'm sure. & he's got to understand what he is not getting. The Kansas City offense.

At the same time Bieniemy has to know the same thing.

They need to be sure they believe the other can help them build a championship team, otherwise go their separate ways.

The only way out is to know the truth & follow it. If that means saying no to Bieniemy, it's saying no to Bieniemy. Explain that to DW4. If he doesn't get it, doesn't trust you... we need to face the truth about that as well.

That's fine, but you've still got to find good football players. Right now, God fearing or not, the Texans don't have many good football players.

Eric Fisher was very very dirty in a game from a few years back. JJ called him out on it and, if I recall, was even injured as a result or was injured and it exacerbated it or some **** like that.


Kelce's done a few things over the years that make me question and hate him. He's flopped for flags regularly (God, remember that game against us a year or two ago), had attitude with refs, played dirty at times, is a chirpy whiny dickwad, etc. No one major hit to refer to. Just a collection of bitchmade. Stuff like below:

Man, I also just remembered Jamaal Charles going low and ruining Brian Cushing's leg and career too. Some might say that one was more "unfortunate" than "dirty." I don't know, especially after what happened the year before.

On 610 this morning they were talking to a Colts beat writer & they asked what are Eberflus’ selling points.

First thing he mentioned was character. He said the Colts are high on character & value it very highly. They believe with good character a player is more likely to realize their potential. Bad character guys rarely do.

The beat writer said this is something Eberflus personifies.

Sounds like a Texans guy to me.

Wouldn't Goofy interview well with the Texans? Did he get the terminal velocity of an African Swallow question correct? Maybe he nailed the favorite color question. Or, it just came down to his favorite flavor of ice cream.

If EB is the guy.....hope Caserio has assistant coaches in mind that'll come in and help round out his staff. I'm sure EB has some ideas as well so we'll just have to wait and see.

If it were Bieniemy or Frazier, they couldn't announce until their season had ended, correct?

This process has seemed much tighter since Casserio became involved. Very few solid leaks that I've seen.

Edit: Texans have denied requests to interview Kelly. Looks like he may be staying. Points to a defensive HC IMO.

If this guy leads to a putting winng 1st and foremost I will take back the reasons I listed before about not wanting EB to become HC. Culture change (putting winning 1st.) has been needed in the Texans org since the franchises inception. I still dont think they can win because of DW4's contract. But atleast they will be much more entertaining.

BTW, did some of you Luv ya Blue fans know that Bum didn't have a bunch of choir boys?

More accurate than some might think. Even if we weren't the candidates first choice if we offer them a job their choices now are to take it and finally be a HC or be a bridesmaid again and hope to be a HC next year.

I'd have liked to have talked to Urban Myer, but he wouldn't have been interested in Houston. I did like Robert Saleh, don't know why the Texans didn't even look at him.
