Seems it has been a coaching point as many of the DBs have had the same issues, flying past the ball carrier, biting too easily generally over-aggressive and getting burned for it for years. Vets have fared better than rookies.

Yes two good games in a row now, Watson looking much more comfortable and playing like the QB we all want him to be.
Granted Lions and Pats arent exactly top competition but they are on our level and we cant take on top competition until lots of other things are fixed.
Watson was playing beautifully and the team responded to it.

DeGoat Watson.
Watson had 8 incompletions and at least 4 or 5 incompletions hit the WR/TEs in the hands and another one was a bit short. Don't get me wrong, a couple of incompletions would have been tough catches, but that is how close he came to throwing for more yards or even 5 TDs.

Tony Romo was undrafted out of Eastern Carolina. Most probably because Sean Peyton (OC under Parcels) was Alum from Eastern Carolina.
the Cowboys had already bombed on Quincy Carter. They already brought in Bledsoe.
They knew they had a talent, let him come along slowly.
When Payton went to N.O. Romo was his 1st choice for QB,even though he hadn’t played an NFL game. Parcels said nope.
He got to start in Dallas & played well for a team that was never really all there. Yes, Romo made some mistakes, but he was always in “hero mode” out of necessity.
