This defense we have sucks balls. KC is way better. This chicken **** offense of the colts made this D look lost. But that has to do with Reich being a better coach.

And the refs continue to suck donkey balls
 
Texans are a mess and aren't going to ever amount to a whole lot under OB. At least the world series starts this week.

Baseball is better than football anyway, and your team is in the ******* World Series. Who gives a **** about an impotent, incompetent, inconsistent football team just because you also choose to waste Sundays watching them.

I wouldn’t say I’m his biggest fan. I can be critical with him. I just described mahomes and you brought him up. Yeah, tough loss but even Jordan had to take beatings from the Celtics before he could dominate. I think there fired there coach too after getting dominated.

Dude. The Colts have been kryptonite to the Texans in general since the organizations birth. The Texans simply needed better coaching in this game. They didn't get it. The refs didn't help matters either. The Texans got beat by inept play calling and terrible officiating today.
 
This is the kind of loss I'm talking about. This particular loss doesn't bother me. We could finish this season 13-3, get home field throughout. But if we lose the AFCCG like this, I still want O'Brien fired. RAC was geared up for what the Colts had been doing & took too long to adjust to what the were doing this game.

O'Brien had no answer on offense. He adds wrinkle & tweak things for other games, but when we play a division rival, nothing new. Nothing different. Nothing to try to confuse them. WYSIWYG.
 
OB had his gaffes, Watson had a few terrible throws, the OL got a great test today, the DB's just held versus taking the PI further down the field.....better than Jackson's approach of settling for the late PI versus getting burned for the TD and last but not least, the stupid penalties monster arrived and it's alive and well. That bang! Bang! You heard was the Texans shooting themselves in the both feet.

I like Skipper's play on extremely short notice and time with the unit. I'd like to see him get first team reps this week and if Johnson is healthy, let him go back to being Swing Tackle.

Watson had an vg to below avg game today.

Brissett outplayed him. More accurate/didn't turn the ball over etc....

The secondary is all beat up.

......Brissett's success was due to the fact his receivers were primarily wide open all game and won most of the more important contested throws. Texans DB's gave Brissett all the confidence he needed.
 
IMO, they came out playing slow and deliberately. Most every time they do, they lose. Play quick and loose, they score high and win.

Man the texans shows signs. Everyone wants to love DW4, hop, jj etc. But OB gets in the way. I swear I get pissed off when I hear his voice. He has everything.

OB needs an OC, he so stubborn. He doesn't want to give up credit.

You can tell when O Brien took the playcalling back this week........ all that spread crap all game long and inside the 5...... the bunch trips formation was confusing the colts and giving them problems and he went away from it....... Deshaun still can’t hit a hot receiver to save giants life and O Brien and this clock management thing is far more the need a running joke now......... it’s a full sad at this point

Here's the thing. With the Colts 27th ranked passing game, that means the Colts have to rely heavily on the run. Now Mack is a very good back and Brissett can take off with the ball and run with it as well, but going against the 8th ranked run defense of the Texans, Mack and Brissett will more often then not get stuffed for short yards, no gain or loss of yards. That's not going to faire well for the Colts. You can't have a one dimensional attack, as we Texans fans know all too well, and expect to be successful. Especially since the opposing defense knows and will key in to stop or slow down the one strength of your offense. If the Colts all of a sudden can't run effectively, then they have to pass. Brissett had better improve his passing dramatically from having the 27th ranked passing game to even have a chance.
Now on defense, Houston, Leonard and Autry will have to contend with a dangerously balanced attack of run and pass that is designed to keep defenses off balance. The last few weeks, the Texans offensive line haven't given defenses even an inch. Tunsil has solidified this group and turned them into one of the best in the league. So not so worried about those 3 actually. Watson, Hyde, Johnson, Fells and Akins will be able to work around them with the 5 big boys up front led by Tunsil giving Watson all the time he needs. Oh, and about Watson, he'll buy additional time with his legs. Get ready for Watson to pick that below average defense to pieces on every level getting the ball out to a huge staple of weapons. Yes. The Texans should beat the Colts handily.

You’re right and I don’t think he’s a bad coach. He’s just not the right coach for Dw. When they decided to draft watson, they should have did everything in there power to bring along Dabo. We will win some games and Dw will make ob look like a genuis. We’re going to get **** in the playoffs if not by the colts, certainly the patriots and the owner won’t fire him because the owner only cares about $$$ and idiot Houston fans will continue to support this team. It’s almost like a foster kid meeting potential parents and never seeing them after the first visit. Ob sold us a lie and it’s not to late to get a refund.

One thing that bothered me... several times in the past 2 weeks including this game: 3rd and short or 4th and short - Texans successful several times with short slants across the middle - but you can't just keep going to that - gotta change it up. Sure enough, Colts were ready for it, linebacker angled back into the route and Texans were screwed. Just too predictable.

Texans need an offensive minded coach for watson. He's got enough weapons they just need to use them better.
 
Brissett is nothing special. Watson has the ability to be the best QB in the game.


If Brissett gets better stats that is telling about the coaching
