Honey badger does care about $11 million or so... (NSFW)
So what exactly is the carryover rule? How much of that cap is wasted if not used?North of $50 mil still.
We will know once the preseason gets underway, as I’m willing to bet that O’Brien can’t even answer that question his damn self.So what does the starting OL look like?
So what does the starting OL look like?
From Aaron Wilson’s twitter... Jo Jo gave us a discount:
Johnathan Joseph two years $10 million, $3.9M gtd, salaries $2.4M (gtd), $2.9M; $1.5M March 19 2018 roster bonus, $100K per game active roster bonus annual, $50K workout base de-escalator clause
LOL seriously guys he has a point. At the same time it takes two and you are just as guilty of keeping the conversation going. Can we all on both sides show some restraint and just let everyone have their own opinion about this subject and move on to what the thread was supposed to be about. I come here every couple of hours to check on updates and have to read through 30 post about an unrelated politically charged topic. Thanks! No, you "I would never take" people are entitled to your opinion but not dictating the conversation.
Y'all want to be snowflakes offended at the mere mention and go hide in a pft saferoom, so be it.

I can’t argue with that.
I watch the guy play and everything seems like luck, like if the wind blew a little the other way so does his play.
Never was a fan of his play.
Sucks he’s been trashed for making a small statement that has hurt no one.
LT - Davenport
LG - Kelemete
C - Martin
RG - Fulton
RT - Henderson
Looks like an improvement over last season, just hope the pieces fit together and the new additions play up to their perceived potential. I want to see what progress Davenport has made in the off season. Won't know what we have until after game one of the regular season.Looks about right.
I keep waiting for Newton to be cut. Until he does, the possibility remains (and the staff know far better) he actually makes it back. That happens it might be Henderson LT, Newton RT, Davenport ST. Doubt it, but it's there.
Maybe just me but that looks like a nice solid o-line. Better than last years without a doubt.LT - Davenport
LG - Kelemete
C - Martin
RG - Fulton
RT - Henderson
Wow!!!North of $50 mil still.
I think it could end up being a good oline. Just reluctant to get overly optimistic. I can see it going either way.Maybe just me but that looks like a nice solid o-line. Better than last years without a doubt.

I keep hoping another player will surprisingly be cut that fits our needs and we sign him. No mention by team about Marquis Gilchrist; that surprises me.

Teams will never give 2 way rushes to their ends with a mobile qb. They don't want to create a seam. That's only true if Watson learns to lessen his tendencies to take off out of the pocket.
Yep! How quickly people forget Brown early in his career. He was developed. It's called developing players and is what you should expect every 3+ round OT (players generally) to go thru.

In the roster moves thread.
Really?
It also relatively young and can grow as a unit. At least two of the guys have massive position flex when there are injuries and underperformance. Honestly, not what I would have done, but considering a week ago there was almost no way putting together a healthy even replacement level line.
FWIW, there is still Mancz, Allen, and Newton to consider. Now, there is at least, enough NFL bodies around where that 3rd round guy isn't automatically being dropped into the line-up w/o having to outplay a dude or two that belongs in the NFL.
That's why you have good DLinemen and especially inside/middle LBs.Teams will never give 2 way rushes to their ends with a mobile qb. They don't want to create a seam.
They will take time to gel, but by the second half of the season we should see some real progress.Looks like an improvement over last season, just hope the pieces fit together and the new additions play up to their perceived potential. I want to see what progress Davenport has made in the off season. Won't know what we have until after game one of the regular season.
When it's a discussion of potential moves and Kaep is a potential backup QB, obviously yes.
Yep
There's a better chance of he** freezing over than Kaep playing QB on a McNair owned team.
But carry on and ruin another thread.
Great job.
Have we won the next super bowl yet?
thanksRaiders are signing him to a 1 year deal
I'm sorry, was there a slight interruption in your Rick Smith, err, McNair sucks roboposts?
My previous post stands.
You're better than this.
Keep up man. We're working on repeating now.
As does mine. You can't discuss the pros & cons in a no politics vacuum. You're the poster child. You've made not one football comment. He's a non-entity by political choice. That's fine. Others view him as a football player. You don't get to stamp out their discussion.
Was Solder playing in Afc champ game when Miller had free rent in the backfield?New York thought he was worth the money. I'm sure Eli Manning and Giants fan is ecstatic. When you consistently suck at drafting you can expect to pay top dollar for free agents and now these guys are stuck in 'paralysis by analysis' over past mistakes in free agency? It's like a clown fest.
And that’s without the draft so farMaybe just me but that looks like a nice solid o-line. Better than last years without a doubt.
There’s so many ways to go from here. Personally, because of what’s left in free agency, I would load up on defense in free agency and use the draft for offense. So far, they have picked up what I thought we needed in FA. One tackle, two guards and a corner. Not necisarily the ones I wash hoping for, but the right positions. Still need a safety and a TE. Repeat the same thing in the draft and we should be good to go. Oh, a runningg back wouldn't hurt either.
