Manziel

Awesome drive by Manziel.

They showed him on the sideline instructing his team how important the next drive is. He gets on the field, Four plays later (three beautiful passes) & he's doing the money dance.

Wow!!

I'm no Aggie fan. I'm just watching to see Manziel, Mathews and Evan's last game. Man A&M's defense is horrible. Mathews is BIGTIME over rated.

It's halftime now. If Manziel can even make this game close it will be a miracle.

Start believing in miracles because here comes #2

I'm not going to lie.... I was wrong about Vince Young. I had no idea he was mentally week & immature. I did not expect him to get drafted by a HC that hated him. I was wrong about how successful he was going to be as a QB.

I love football, I love Texas, & I love Texas football, so yeah... there may be some homerism in my exuberance.

But damn!!! that kid can play some football.

No way A&M stops Duke from scoring again. They'll need at least two stops to win this game. Not going to happen.

If it was Bridgewater making that play you wouldn't even be able to talk. You would be to busy tugging his jock.

Lol, u carry 1 convo in 1 thread over to another? 1 stark difference between the 2...Manziel is an athlete trying to play qb...Bridgewater is a qb who happens to be athletic.

HAHA bridgewater played nobodies all season long
Manziel put up 600yards on Bama's defense, full of future NFL players

Manziel is just an athlete huh? That comment proves a lot.

Yeah...b/c who u played in college really has alot of bearing on what you'll do on the next level....

You sound stupid.

That statement is so full of stupid I don't know where to begin. Manziel has done more against better teams in 2 years than Bridgewater in 3 years. Who was the toughest team Bridgewater faced all year? UCF and got beat

Take that drivel somewhere else

LOL you talk about stupidity? So it doesnt matter that bridgewater played nobodies all season long. HAHA Talk about stupidity

There's a lot of Manziel bias on this board. Bridgewater and Manziel could make the same play and those people would say that proves Manziel is not going to be a good nfl QB and then turn around and say, see, Bridgewater is AWSOME and should be the number one pick.

Manziel has terrible mechanics. Throw off his back foot way to much. Don't know how he is going to take to taking snaps from under center or how well he will be at reading defenses. Having said that, dam he is exciting. I love watching him. I love his fire, leadership abilities and his ability to turn a broken play into a positive one. I also believe he has an incredible ability to place balls where they are easy for his receivers to catch.

With that and the fact that His negatives are fixable IMO and that puts him in the discussion for number one.

It doesnt matter nearly as much as you guys make it seem.

I guess the steelers should've passed on rothlisberger b/c he played "nobodies" at miami of ohio...

Kapernick played against "nobodies" at Nevada

Flacco at delaware...

Talent is talent, doesnt matter who they played..it will shine through. those who know what they're looking at recognize that...

Or do u want me to run down the list of qb's who played in big time conferences against "big time" competition that flopped in the NFL?

I'm an Aggies fan and Manziel so not into this debate or what not. But these type of points I always find tiresome. Football is the ultimate team game. Louisville losing to UCF had little to nothing to do with Bridgewater for any that watched it. The kid was 29 for 38 for 341 yards and 2 td's with no int's. So them losing isn't some point against Bridgewater. He did his job. Not like this is tennis or something. It's a team game.

Or maybe the overrated QBs who played nobodies in college and flopped in the NFL.

My biggest concern with manziel is his size. He is short and he is small for his style. Russel Wilson is the exception, not the norm. That said, his ability to win games is pretty remarkable.

Dude is stupidly accurate, has a knack for getting out of trouble and an insane will to win. Made some ridiculous throws tonight and killed my team. Kept hoping he'd fail and yet willed his team to a win.

Ugh depressing game. Only solace is drafting Manziel and it'll be worth the disappointment.

russell wilson is short, but he has a 6'4 wingspan and he's built like a truck.

This must've been a down year for SEC defense. They kept saying A&M set the SEC record for total offense or something meaningless like that & they aren't "really" an SEC team.

I like Johnny Football. Love watching him play. But I don't "want" the Texans to draft him any more than I want them to draft Bridgewater. For me, it's about that #1 overall. Neither are worthy. If the talent at the top of the draft is elite, we should be selecting one of them.

If we trade out of the first 5 picks & we can get Bridgewater...... or Manziel for that matter, fine. I'm good with that.

But watching the Russell Athletic Bowl was nothing like watching this game.

Nothing.

Congrat's on a tough win, Aggie fans.

You know what scares me? Someboy, SOMEBODY hired those announcers.

It's one thing to be obnoxious It's another thing to be SO OFF with one's analysis. And another thing still to seemingly know little about the rules. Also, it seemed they were watching instant relay's on a cell phone, a mini-cell phone.

Whoops, mini-rant over. Sorry.

Congratulations Aggies!

Manziel is 10 times more exciting that all the other QBs put together. 10 times the leader too. Not even close. He fired up that awful defense at the half. Incredible. He was not to be denied.

Yo, y'all played a fantastic game. Future looks bright for Duke.

If the Ag's can only hire a defensive coordinator... I know they came through, but Mark Snyder ain't the dude. Love me some Manziel, kid has a heart... and in this discussion we left out two great short QB's... Drew Bree's and Doug Flutie :)
