They haven't been a very good red zone team, and even more so with OD out of the lineup.

well when u run 4 running plays from foster for 64 yards and then we get to the 2 yard line you have to see some of the logic i'm talking about

I hear you, but running it in from the 2 is a lot harder than getting a random 2-yard gain in the middle of the field. And that's where losing OD hurts, as it reduces the threat of the tight end and makes it easier for the linebackers to crowd the box.

In that scenario, both Harbaugh's would have gone for it. That's just confident, physical football.

Of course, their teams are rarely in this kind of hole because they are disciplined and well coached.
