The Texans have had the #1 ovrl pick 3x..in probably the 3 worst damn drafts to have the #1 ovrl pick over that 12 year span. If they lucked out like other teams and were picking in a draft with a highly touted franchise QB, their fortunes would've been totally different.
2002 first round QBs..
David Carr, Joey Harrington, and Patrick Ramsey.
2006 first round QBs..
Vince Young, Matt Lienart, and Jay Cutler.
2014 first round QBs..
Blake Bortles, Johny Manziel, and Teddy Bridgewater.
That is ****ing atrocious, like a who's who of the biggest NFL busts over the last 15 years while teams like the Colts get generational talent everytime they pick first, sickening.
It's like there's some law in the universe that states if the Houston Texans are picking 1st there can't be a QB worth a damn drafting in the entire first round.
