History as in same results as week 1? Or the past 4 times we've played you? Or do you mean the 11 wins in 13 games against y'all? 😂
I'm thinking the never won in Baltimore.

I'm thinking 51-7

I'm thinking always getting blown out in the divisional round. Always.

I'm thinking I have no idea what to think. What has happened with the Texans this year doesn't happen unless you have a good organization AND luck. And you need a healthy dose of both for this kind of stuff to happen.

Man you guys have the best chance of anyone left in the AFC to beat us. Don't think negative. I was just playing devil's advocate lol
I've been trying to keep my expectations down all season. But I can't no longer. I do not think we're the better team, but I expect to see magic every time them boys on Kirby step on the field.

Any field.

Losing to the Ravens is not something to be down about if (when) that happens. We are literally one of the best teams of all time as it stands right now. We have destroyed every single contender in our path at home or on road, doesn't matter. The Texans have a bright future with Stroud, just remember that. They are walking into an absolutely nightmare scenario. An all time great team who is now fully healthy, something they could never claim for even 1 game during season. There is a reason it is a 10pt spread, but that has to do with how strong Ravens are, not detracting anything from Texans. I'm not going to sit here and claim you have a good shot to win because you don't, that is just being honest. A shot, for sure because it is the NFL, but it aint a good one.

Screaming from the bleachers? One thing to be confident, another to be delusional.

Sure you beat the brakes off the Niners, Lions, and Fish. But don't forget the L's to THREE AFCN teams. Twice by the Steelers. Steelers and Browns both made the playoffs. And a L to the Colts. Ravens may very well win, probably should win, but it won't be as easy as you proclaim. The Texans are playing with house money and that is dangerous for the Ravens. The Texans didn't come this far just to get this far.

Our last legitimate loss when we were actually trying was 2 months and 6 injured starters ago. We are scoring 35 and allowing 17 since then. House money is nice to think matters, but when they start playing football against an absolute powerhouse it means nothing. Maybe Lamar throws as many picks in this game as he has in last 6 weeks or something, but that is only way this game is close.

Do the Texans have a shot? Yeah, they have a shot. They’ve got what certainly appears to be a true franchise QB in Houston, and with that, you have a shot. You literally don’t without it. Stroud is poised, doesn’t appear to get rattled and can chuck a pigskin. So yeah, they certainly have a shot.

You can bet big coin that Harbaugh, MacDonald and Monken are game-planning for Saturday like the Texans have a shot.

Our last legitimate loss when we were actually trying...

Sounds like a problem right there.

The only problem is you can't even realize we had 2nd and 3rd stringers playing week 18 vs Steelers. Because we destroyed everyone in our path for the previous 2 months, leading to that game not mattering. Keep hope alive.
I see my post went over your head. I'll try a different approach.

Winners win. They play to win. You didn't even start your starters week 18. Winning wasn't important. You're just going to "turn it on" in the playoffs. I get it, the game didn't mean anything to the powers that be... & that's the problem.

Oh it's like some 4D chess **** I got it now. You and the Texans are just operating on another level. Like if we would have just lost a bunch of games before week 18, THEN we wouldn't have to play our backups and "it" wouldn't be "turned off"......or something like that. Yeah that is it. You nailed it. Once that thing is "turned off" there is just nothing to turn it back on. They are like robots with dead batteries man, can't trn them on. I get it now.

Let's not move the goal post. I'm not even considering the Texans in this. You said The Ravens weren't trying to win. That's a problem imo. Doesn't sound like a win first mentality.

What was practice like for those three weeks? "slow down guys... we're not trying to win. Relax, go check out the sauna. Go get some ice cream."

Ravens are the better team, but every team you lost to we beat, just saying...

Listen.

Ravens and Texans are going to be good teams now for the next several years, and they're probably going to play each other every year at least once and possibly twice. There are going to be some great battles in our future.

I'm looking forward to this, but I was just happy to make the damned playoffs. All of this is gravy at this point. I'm just going to enjoy the ride as long as it lasts and hope we keep knocking the crap out of people.

But this is just a beta version of the Texans. This is the beginning of an era for us.

Exactly. I'm still in a state of shock we're even talking about all this.

And another offseason and draft like we're all expecting of Casino, and the Texans in their new uniforms will rule.

I'm wishy-washy on playing or resting starters in games with no meaning. On one hand I see the value in keeping everything in sync & just approaching it like you would any other game. On the other if one of the key starters got hurt I would be screaming as loud as anyone asking why the hell were the starters even playing. I'm a very much after the fact sh*t talker when it comes to this subject.

It also may be a cover their ass move by head coaches. Imagine what Texans fans would be saying if Dell had broke his leg in a game where winning or losing changed nothing as far as playoff seeding went.

At this time of year health is one of the biggest factors in how well teams play so I can't fault a coach for letting his people have an extra week of rest. Having said that I hope 2 weeks rest reeks havoc with the Ravens. Go Texans.

Right. So your team really hasn't played a game in 3 weeks. Cool.

I'm happy with where the Texans are at, at this point and time.

Fortunately Ryans/Stroud/ The rest of the team also aren't looking at this like we are.

I'm just having fun with our new friend, not to be taken seriously. I'd be singing a different tune if the Texans were in their position.

lol, I’m all for confidence in your squad…but c’mon bro. Can’t be 1 of the “best teams of all time” getting beat by Gardner Minshew bro and losing leads like y’all were earlier in the year. & the only true contenders y’all played was the 49ers and I guess you can count the lions.

Dolphins weren’t real contenders…they literally beat no one with a winning record all season and were exposed in the playoffs.

Same for the jags except they didn’t make it to playoffs to be exposed.

Same for the Browns.

Furthermore we all know the playoffs are a different animal & this iteration of the Ravens has yet to play in them just yet so it remains to be seen what this new offense will look like when it’s put under pressure.
