Exactly! If I was DeMeco I'd send that to the league. Even if they snapped the ball with 1 second, the clock doesn't stop until the ball is spiked into the ground.. No way they had a snap exchange, pulled the ball back, and spiked it into the ground in under a second.

This is not hyperbole and it's not just the NFL, it's all professional sports.. officiating is becoming a crisis in professional sports. It's never ever been this bad across the board. Might as well develop a A.I. droid to do their jobs, because they rely so much on replay these days they've become stupid, or even worse.. Corrupted by legalized gambling..

A win is a win, but man this team lives its life on the cliff’s edge every week.

For the moment, I’ll go glass half full. For all intents and purposes, you have a 3 game lead in the division.

Even if the Texans go a measly 4-5 to close the season, That’s10-7. I think that’s a worst case, so let’s use the worst case scenario.

the Colts at 4-4 would have to go 7-2 to finish 11- 6. If the Texans go 5-4 - very doable, the colts would need an 8-1 record to win the division.

In short…the Texans likely wrapped up the division today. Colts are still in the wild card hunt. For the Texans, it’s about seeding.

I'm thrilled as a muthatruker that our defense played the way they did on those last two drives. I thought it was a little unfair to ask them to win the game after they sold out on the possession before & I still think that way... DeMeco needs to impress on Slowick that he needs to improve his 4 minute offense.

But the boys rose to the challenge.. could have been better & I hope they do get better for that game when we give the ball back to Mahomes, or Goff, or even Dak with 4 minutes left, or 2 minutes, or a minute... Championship caliber defenses get those stops & this helps our guys get closer to that.

We have yet to play a machine like full game. Hopefully we will get it together and start doing so.

ME TOO!

With Stroud we thought the offense would be the strength of the team. Defense looks damn good! And the offense will only get better. We saw what having Green out of the lineup will do. Immediately after scored a TD. When the symptom of our problem and now we have seen the cure. I would be surprised is Green starts again.

The offense is only going to get better. Nico coming back and the Oline fixed.

I am ready.

Absolutely.

& the defense has plenty of room to grow as well. Autry & White are still working in & we've got three pretty good LBs coming back.

So Kenyon Green is the and only reason why the OL is bad? I guess we’re watching different games.

Who said he was? He was horrible but not only one making bad plays. I think his left side injury is his biggest weakness.

You know I really wasn’t a fan of the Mixon signing…panned it actually..but man was I wrong about him. He’s been a revelation for our run game.
I was definitely in the same boat and extremely happy with the way it has turned out. Can you imagine where would be right now with no Mixon?

On the last play of the game. Anderson said they didn't practice that play. The coaches decided the DL would overload one side of the OL and play off of each other. Looks like the Colts were shocked that they did that.

Devin White got isolated on a RB and was burnt for a big play. Luckily, the RB dropped the pass. For a guy with only a few days of practice, it seems like he played significant snaps and wasn't a liability.
I thought he played well in his first game. Good job by the coaches getting him ready and preparing some blitz packages that helped impact the game. The new LB coach Bill Davis has been in the league awhile with multiple stints as a DC (including coaching DeMeco with Philly). He’s showing he’s one of the best LB coaches in the league this season.

Just imagine if Harris comes back what kind of creative blitz packages DeMeco/Burke can cook up with Harris/White rushing the passer in addition to this DL…

Devin White earned more play time Thursday. I want more review but Howard didn't seem as stinky as he has been.
I would like to see Hutchinson get a few more targets.

Tank.. Tank.. Tank..
STAY OUT OF MIDDLE!
I do not even want to see him jumping up the wall into the crowd. How bad was Bullock injured? I think I want to see CJ with more rollouts. I still want to see some two running back sets to help protect Stroud.

Another close game, but we win again. This offense is killing us Slowik needs his ass chewed and to go back to the drawing board. The OL has to get reshuffled. I think they keep it status quo for Thursday on the short week, but after that they need to change things up
I think the OL play (or lack thereof) is affecting the team more so that Slowik's play calling. What would you have in your playbook when you face blitz pressure even when the defense isn't blitzing? Stover is definitely not a blocking TE, so why do they keep asking him to? He got blown the F up on the turnover in the 4th and at least one more time.

There was a running play where for some reason, it seems that Tank came down the LOS to block. Since crack back blocks are illegal, I have no idea what he was doing. He ended up running into Mixon and it looks like Mixon gave him an earful for screwing up a running play.

It was stupid. I've seen so many stupid plays in the NFL today, my IQ has dropped 50 points. I just saw the Bears hand off to a backup OL at the one. He promptly coughed it up like someone handed him a hornets nest. Everything is just full of stupid today.
