Only made the highlights in the pre game today.
Its called situational football. No way the packers throw the ball down the middle there without any timeouts. I have no issues with Slowik calling a pass play on that 3rd down.
Right or wrong, better to see a captain heated and angry directed at your opponent than your own organization.
Heat up your own team not the opponent. Or better yet, have some highlights during the game, not before it. Captain my ass

Lord I hate this organization on days like this. So much wrong with them that never gets addressed. Cal’s Texans are no better than Bob’s Texans. They potentially have the best QB to ever come to this town and refuse to build an OL worth more than a bucket of piss. This offense is hamstrung by incompetent line play from RT all the way across to LT. It needs to be Caserio’s mission in life to fix it. Should have been that this past offseason. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been told Tunsil was worth it. It’s like being told it’s raining while someone urinates down your back. Tunsil is expensive garbage and the day the Texans wise up can’t come soon enough.
As for Slow. Slow can go. There’s nothing he brought in that didn’t come here with CJ and his slow developing, slow adjusting offense will get CJ killed or gun shy before Bobby works out how to do this job properly.

The good thing about a fired up player... the motives may not always be the same, but it means they care at some level.
I didn't see what he did, but when I read what you said and it being Diggs I instantly though he did something toxic against the team... after skimming a story he went at a Packer that refs and staff had to hold him back.
To which as I said, better its aimed at the opponent than his own team.... better he also gets foolishness out of the way before the game than during the game.
Again, I didn't see it, dont know what happened exactly but in general I will take a captain that cares and sometimes loses composure cause he isnt perfect than a man that has no feeling invested in it and couldn't care less.
Yeah it blowed up in his face big time. Just not good optics when you have an incident like that and then a terrible performance.

Not defending Diggs by any means, but the refs let Alexander get away with a lot jawin and other crap today.
This is what is so hilarious to me. Last year, he could walk on water. But now that CJ is not getting protected, it’s Slow’s fault. Oh yeah, that just absolutely makes perfect sense to me.

Combine that with simply watching the plays as they are called. The man isn’t the newest genius in that coaching tree we all thought we were looking at. It’s not that uncommon a thing to see.
Let the boys be boys. I sure hope refs don’t start throwing flags on players just for talking smack.

Totally agree. Maybe Slowik isn’t as good as so many people thought he was last year and were all worried about his leaving. And I bet he isn’t all of a sudden as bad as so many now think he is this year. I will wait to pass judgement on him until the year is over. At least wait until he has the big three playing: CJ, mixon, and nico.

I've thought so too.. in his very first action off the bench this year where Tunsil and company were having a flag party, I was amazed he wasn't called for a single one. He's actually been very solid, I would bench Howard this week and shake things up.. This offensive line is way too comfortable when no one should be.

That game is suddenly super important and it's annoying. They're 4-3 were 5-2 and looking like crap.

Alexander deserved a flag for the tackle on Strouds scramble. He launched at him with the shoulder. I’ve seen lesser crap called
Google it. He got into an altercation with an opposing player and coach on the field. Had to restrained.
I had no issues with the no call. I have seen lesser crap called, which I also wish weren’t called.

Happened pregame about half an hour before kickoff, there was a giant brouhaha on the sideline between Diggs and a bunch of packers, coaches and staff had to separate people. They showed it on all the pregame shows.
Luckily we turned them over today or this could've turned into a "letterman jacket" incident real quick
Talk about giving your opponent bulletin material. And right before kickoff. Not very smart.

As I said, even with time to throw, "which wasn't very often," nobody was giving CJ a favorable matchup to throw the ball to and when there were ASAP passes not much good came of them. Tank is obviously having a sophomore slump and Metchie never had anything. I would have preferred we traded Metchie and kept Noah Brown. Trading Brown may come back to haunt us in the long run!

When I saw that live I chalked it up to further evidence of lack of discipline.. This team doesn't even play in our conference. I still think we'll make the playoffs, but Demeco needs to get in his teams ass a little, because teams this undisciplined are 1 and done.

Pass pro was awful today. Didn’t give Stroud a chance, yes he missed Nico, who is otherworldly when it comes to extending plays, in particular, but my god the pressure was relentless.
We won the turnover game 3-0 today, had great field position, and Mixon blew open some runs for over 100 on the ground, too, but you’ll get nowhere in the modern NFL if your QB can’t even set his base to throw before someone is putting a hand on him. And CJ is as good as they come at footwork so it isn’t his fault.
If there is any shred of comfort to take today, we lost to an NFC opponent and there is low hanging fruit to improve if we do get to play a do-over in February

I dont condone what Diggs did, but also Im not going to pretend like I know the full story of what happened to lead up to that.
If he doesn't do it often... let it go and move on with life IMO.

What I saw during pregames was that -they- were the aggressor, not Diggs. I’m sure Diggs said something but they put their hands on him. Apparently Alexander and Diggs have bad blood from when he was on the Vikings. Like a -lot- of it.
Respectfully Disagree, you need to nip this in the bud and can’t just ignore it. Otherwise it can become a a reoccurring problem, a distraction, and you get labeled as a hothead that opposing teams can use to their advantage. A team captain should be held to a higher standard, not a lower standard. I wonder if some of his teammates are pissed at him for fueling up the opponent, no less on their home field.

It wasn't just Diggs that Jaire Alexander was getting into with today. Alexander also got into it with both Dell and Stroud. I'm not sure there should be much nipping to do.
I will let the Packers worry about disciplining their divas. We need to worry about ours.

How many players are down on this team? Yet they battled their arses off. This team is not perfect, to be sure. But let's keep the criticism in perspective. If I never watched a game and just read the threads, I would think this team is 2-5.
