The coaching got us a big nice lead, then gave it all away.Have to give it to them. Pro loss. Make it competitive but still find a way to pull down the L.

Jets still on the schedule, right?I doubt we'll have a more winnable game the rest of the season.
I was energized by Culley when he first came in, now I'm starting to think there is a good reason he never got a shot as a Head Coach. What happened to the disciplined play from the preseason?
It's a Texans tradition for the head coach to choke a win into a loss. That loss is 100% on Culley.
But, but …. Caserio signed all these guys that could “play” special teams!!?Well… at least it was an entertaining loss. Encouraging performance from Mills and the offense.
Penalties aplenty, special teams was awful.
It's Houston. For our next act, we flood some streets so everyone feels at home. It's a Texans tradition for the head coach to choke a win into a loss.
I agree this loss is on Culley but more like 70% blame. Good play execution would have made the difference. That loss is 100% on Culley. This guy needs to go coach a Jr High somewhere. He is a lousy HC
But his first HC gig. It's different when you're The Guy.For a guy with over 30 years NFL coaching experience, Culley sure makes a lot of bad decisions!
If 1 guy is going to carry the burden of this loss…..it’d Fairbairn. He left 5 points on the field. If he felt too injured to kick the ball, he should’ve expressed those concerns before he was made starting kicker this week. That loss is 100% on Culley. This guy needs to go coach a Jr High somewhere. He is a lousy HC
He’s basically a rookie head coach. He probably got too excited with a lead over the patriots and started outthinking himself.I agree this loss is on Culley but more like 70% blame. Good play execution would have made the difference.
For a guy with over 30 years NFL coaching experience, Culley sure makes a lot of bad decisions!
They filled a really important part of Lovie’s D on the cheap.Kirksey sucks in pass coverage
I really don’t want to hear anything from that scary ash coach.3 people I need to hear from in the after game presser:
David Culley
Fairbarin
Special teams coach.
just awful from ST today.
Agreed. I hope NC actually sits down with Culley and goes over those situations for answers of "What The Hell Were You Thinking?"It sucks cuz this game was both well coached in terms of prep for Mills and creativity and AGGRESSIVENESS on fourth downs, and TERRIBLY coached in terms of other decision making and time management.
Interesting dichotomy.
i think the thing is, he has to make up his mind. He was super aggressive early on in this game….super aggressive early on in Buffalo last week..but it seems he gets more conservative as the games go on.I really don’t want to hear anything from that scary ash coach.
No hangover from the Bills game for Mills. Just keep plugging away.Didn’t really expect much tbh, but I’m pleased with mills
Nick has his own issues. Who's going to have "the talk" with Caserio?I hope NC actually sits down with Culley and goes over those situations for answers of "What The Hell Were You Thinking?"
TexansTalk!Nick has his own issues. Who's going to have "the talk" with Caserio?
That is why I wanted to see if things were different this season. We didnt need an allstar roster to know if the cracks in the foundation were fixed. It's a Texans tradition for the head coach to choke a win into a loss.
Something every Texans Coach suffer from. When will it end?I agree this loss is on Culley but more like 70% blame. Good play execution would have made the difference.

You guys might disregard it as a conspiracy, but I'm telling you it's a set up.Wow, could this be going the opposite as a high scoring game?
Teams will know Chris Moore is on the Texans after today. They might’ve noticed Conley as well. This could be a help to Cooks in upcoming games. You guys might disregard it as a conspiracy, but I'm telling you it's a set up.
Looks like a quack, walk like a quack.
This game should have been a snooze fest, but no.
The Texans couldn't get a consistent pass rush nor a run stop with all those back up on their Oline.
The Pats secondary were leaving guys open or just open enough.
Chris Moore? For real?
How many casual Texans fans even know he's on the team.
That’s why I will not put any extra effort to seeing them play anymore. They’re basically saying F the fans. You guys might disregard it as a conspiracy, but I'm telling you it's a set up.

It will be interesting what they do with Moore after this week. Pretty obvious someone who gets 100+ yards and a td against the Pats will get plucked off an NFL practice squad.Teams will know Chris Moore is on the Texans after today. They might’ve noticed Conley as well. This could be a help to Cooks in upcoming games.
The NFL did get into bed with sports gambling pretty blatantly… and to my knowledge there hasn’t been a low scoring NFL game indoors in quite some time. Only when bad weather outdoors affect both teams. You guys might disregard it as a conspiracy, but I'm telling you it's a set up.

I'm pretty sure the "F the fans" was clear when OB failed up.... repeatedly.... thus leading to most of the dumpster fire we find ourselves with. That’s why I will not put any extra effort to seeing them play anymore. They’re basically saying F the fans.
When OB became GM and traded Hopkins for peanuts I boycotted the team last year. Once a new regime came in I came crawling back because I am a glutton for punishment and even though my Sundays were way more productive I am a Texans football addict. I can think of way cooler addictions but this is my cross to bearI'm pretty sure the "F the fans" was clear when OB failed up.... repeatedly.... thus leading to most of the dumpster fire we find ourselves with.
I can only think of one "bad" throw... the one Moore scored on. What were the other "almost INTs"?Mills made some throws today, those same throws could very easily have been picks. Hopefully it's because he's been good not lucky.
Probably splitting hairs but I will go with your 70%. There was lousy execution on ST, defense was bad in the 4th qtr, online still can’t run block. That said this guy can’t coach his way out of a paper bag. He is certainly a nicer personality than the previous HC but he is even more clueless. And that is hard to do. He is in way over his head.I agree this loss is on Culley but more like 70% blame. Good play execution would have made the difference.
For a guy with over 30 years NFL coaching experience, Culley sure makes a lot of bad decisions!
Why do it in 2 or 3 when you can do it in 1?So tell me what the big deal is about taking 2 yrs instead of 1 to cleanup the cap. The Texans aren't going to be competing for a Lombardi anytime soon.
That was good ball placement.I can only think of one "bad" throw... the one Moore scored on. What were the other "almost INTs"?
My feelings exactly! Why do it in 2 or 3 when you can do it in 1?
All the hits should've been taken this year. Merci, DJ, Murray should've all been cutWhy do it in 2 or 3 when you can do it in 1?
DJ played pretty well today actually.Texans have soo many players who aren't good at football but are friends with Esterbunny, that they're at a competitive disadvantage. Merci, DJ, Murray, Buckhead are as worthless as they come
What game did you watch?DJ played pretty well today actually.
5 catches 46 yards pretty solid for a receiving back. He should’ve gotten more touches imo. What game did you watch?
You're reaching. He's not dictating coverage or schemes. You can find 50 m players in the NFL to do what Johnson does5 catches 46 yards pretty solid for a receiving back. He should’ve gotten more touches imo.
