I don't know why anyone is surprised about that guy. Minshew can play. Hell he went 500 on a bad Jags team and beat out Foles. Their offense will run better with him at qb.

Foles wasn't so much beat out as Minshew took advantage of his broken collar bone. Foles threw a TD that was a perfect over the top strike on the play he was injured. Foles career is over but I don't think his Super Bowl title was a fluke. He just has had some bad luck. His time in Chicago and Indianapolis was a joke. His time in Jacksonville never was. Had he not had a broken collar bone with Jacksonville his overall career would have been favorable.

I will say this…through two games the one and pretty much only things I am optimistic about is we have a QB and Nico has stepped his game up. CJ is cool as a cucumber even while his line is a sieve.

Jones is a turnstile. He is horrible. I thought he was supposed to be a good backup, decent spot starter type. Fant is better. Heck is also better imo.

He’s a borderline roster guy at best. He is on his heels getting pretty much destroyed on every drop back. I’m not so sure that was a hold, but the bottom line is once again, he was getting run over.
