Week 13 Gameday: Texans at Ravens

Fine, that's your OPINION and you're entitled to it. Yes, angles of pursuit I agree with, the TD is in serious doubt.

IMHO, anyone who thinks that the RB position is even in our TOP THREE needs to fill in the offseason gets very little respect from me! Neener-neener! :neener:

Serously though, with this current cast of characters (coaches included), Reggie Bush would look (at BEST) only marginally better than DD.

That's because you don't know what you're look at.

Folks.. That was a mathis fault, but not either.. He was afraid he was going to get plastered. He should have fair catched it.

Gah! You guys must have a 3 minute lead on NFL gamecenter...

Nice play though, hopefully we can get the lead here.

You're right, RB isn't high on the list of priorities. However, Bush can play RB, WR, slot receiver, punt & kick returner. He's a weapon that defies a position. I think Davis could still be a factor on this team with Bush.

But you're right again, Bush in this offense with this staff would be like hanging a Picasso in your garage. The right offensive mind would need to be brought in to utilize a player like Bush fully.

Herv, give it up. If the Texans were one player away from being a good team, I'd be all over Bush, but they're not, period.

If we had even an "adequate" line, I'd love to see him become the second-coming of Barry Sanders, but that place isn't in Houston.

If we lose this game, I'll bet we hear something from G-Funk about the offense. Given last week's second half collapse by the defense, I don't think that would be wise.

alot of nfl backs would not of made that catch and run for the first down.

Why is everybody dumping on Davis today? Are you guys trying to justify taking Bush in the draft or something?

Sign that cameraman. He's shown the toughness to play QB for this team. :)

We had average to poor linemen....that's why we spent 1st round picks on Offensive linemen every year for years along with trading for Leon Grey.

I put Leon Gray into the Bum era but the actual drafting of 1st round linemen was completely in the Ladd Herzog era. In Bum's day he tried band-aids to get Earl a better line. As you said he got Leon Gray via trade in 79 and he got Bob Young to play another year in 1980, his last full season and past his prime but still a good lineman. Band-aids, nothing more.

In 81 we didn't have a first round pick and Leon Gray played his last year here. Starting in 82 we began collecting incredible offensive linemen. Most of the line was still garbage though. Even Munchak was a rookie once.
