hes not playing agains college players. those were not sure td's in the nfl.

We had way more than Earl going for us those first few years of Earl's career. We had decent QBs, we had a line that didn't make me cringe (except when Carl Mauck tried to sing), and we had some good WRs. Heck, I even remember TEs from those days. Considering all that is wrong with the '05 Texans, I think we would be doing ourselves a disservice be simply getting another RB when we have so many other positions which are in far worse shape.

We had a horrible line with super busts Mo Townes and Angelo Fields leading the way. The line didn't get upgraded until later drafting Muchack, Matthews, Steinkeuler and trading for Leon Grey. We had an old Ken Burrough, Johnnie Dirden, Mike Renfro and a slot guy in Billy Johnson as WR's on the team Earl came to. The pre Earl Oilers weren't much better than we are on offense. They had a decent defence though.

If Bush hits those wholes. DD is a very patient runner, Bush is not

Did Suggs not Hand to the head the QB? Our guys love tap Bowler and our guy gets facemasked/knocked on the crown of the head....I dunno....home cookin I guess...

Just the mention of Riley's name makes me angry. I can't even watch him pretend to play. Of all the stupid moves we make, Riley is at the top.

We had average to poor linemen....that's why we spent 1st round picks on Offensive linemen every year for years along with trading for Leon Grey.

Frankly anyone who thinks the RB position doesn't need to be upgraded gets very little respect from me. I just don't think they understand what they're looking at. Fine, that's your OPINION and you're entitled to it. Yes, angles of pursuit I agree with, the TD is in serious doubt.

IMHO, anyone who thinks that the RB position is even in our TOP THREE needs to fill in the offseason gets very little respect from me! Neener-neener! :neener:

Serously though, with this current cast of characters (coaches included), Reggie Bush would look (at BEST) only marginally better than DD.
