If Pattersson is inactive then Kendrick Green most likely.

Week 1 inactives. Wonder why Texans only show five to Colts seven? Frustrating but expected that Akers is inactive while Pierce is RB2. Mild surprise that Metchie is behind both Woods and Hutchinson. I assume due to ST utility.

This is where Azeez will earn his money this season. I expect him to shut the RPO game down in a big way today. We paid him to be an instinctive tackling machine. That’s what I expect to see today!

I hope Ryans doesn't go all Kubiak with his loyalty to Pierce. He hasn't shown squat last season or in preseason this year.

Kinda surprised to see Metchie inactive today. Glad to see BB active.

Metchie inactive is a ST decision imo.

BB active makes sense for ST and FB usage.

C'mon man, stop that narrative. No one this team made excuses for him, least of all himself. He was not only benched after 7 games, but was made inactive for the following three games. In the final 7 games of the season he touched the ball 38 times. He was on the field for 15% of the offensive snaps in those final 7 games. He was held accountable. Maybe not the level you wanted, but sounds like nothing short of cutting him would have kept you from believing that they are going to resurrect his career like Jesus on Easter Sunday if they have to go 0-17 to do it.
