That's different as those are analogies not colloquialisms. No, I don't think he forgot he was talking about football, but people do misspeak sometimes.
So you think he's misspoke every time he's said that about Clowney?

Charles James: 'Hopefully I can inspire and prove that underdogs can come out on top. I'm going to keep going and do my thing.'
Charles James: 'I appreciate the fans in Houston who became fans of Charles James. I will keep striving because of them.'
Charles James told me: 'I'm not angry, I'm disappointed. I'm not giving up. My hard work won't go unnoticed.'

Kendall Lamm tweets he made the 53 man roster.
Lee was traded to the Bears days ago for a 6th round pick in 2017.This is 52, and I have yet to hear anything about Khari Lee.

Then that makes 53.4 Safeties? I count 5.
Noted (and what can I say, it's been a busy three days since then, I clearly had to temporarily off-load some memory).Chicago Bear Khari Lee?
Martin survives another day. Man I hope to upgrade and replace him. Any day now. Any. Day...
Let's put it this way. All of us knew what O'Brien was referring to when he said "pitch count". You were the only one so anal retentive that you had to point it out as a baseball term.Geeez... How many times exactly has he said that about Clowney?

Oh ye of little faith...Do you have the slightest clue as to how much that makes YOU sound like an idiot? There's no way you could possibly be that dense.
The decision must have been made based on how good a job he did getting Savage killed.![]()
He injured himself at the beginning of TC and was essentially limited throughout TC. The injury was never characterized, but a good bet is that it is a hamstring. Something that he dealt with recurrently in college.
...
I hope we don't end up carrying a player that rather than carrying his own weight on the team, becomes another story of dead weight.
Keeping Martin over some of the other guys is a major fail. Guy makes 1 play in the preseason and earns a spot.
You should see him in closed practice.
Does he turn into the second coming of Jerry Rice in practice or something?

That's one way to open up a roster spotSavage goes on IR and Lamm makes the team. There is irony in there somewhere.
Then you keep Martin. Why?
Houston Texans Fans: we worry and ***** because we cut the 7th cornerback on the roster.

Yeah, it's kind of neat - isn't it?Wow, there is so much butt hurt up in here.
