There is that 3 game suspension to worry aboutDemeco would have my back no matter what so maybe I should.
Not for me. I don’t have any past fines or unnecessary roughness penalties lolThere is that 3 game suspension to worry about
Lmao this organization is crumbling. Nick needs to worry about the locker room instead.
Attacking the media never works out well.![]()
Couldn’t be further than the truth. Once again you are making things up to fit your agenda.
I don’t know what he said as the video isn’t captioned but I’m bettibg he was attacking the NFL, not the media.Attacking the media never works out well.
Crumbling? Everything the man said was the truth. There's no rhyme or reason to punishments the league dishes out. Zero consistency

Media doesn't have much credibility these days.Attacking the media never works out well.
The sports media/NFL, same thing. If the Texans do not go far in the playoffs, they will absolutely pile on.I don’t know what he said as the video isn’t captioned but I’m bettibg he was attacking the NFL, not the media.
Media doesn't have much credibility these days.
And his comments were directed towards the league, rightfully so.
Direct it at the league. How’s that going to work out for calls in our favor?Media doesn't have much credibility these days.
And his comments were directed towards the league, rightfully so.
I just can’t with that guy anymore. Caserio never attacked the media. He was attacking the NFL. That poster makes up things as he goes along to support his agenda.
He doesn’t like Demeco.
He doesn’t like Stroud.
I don’t know why he is here.
The sports media/NFL, same thing. If the Texans do not go far in the playoffs, they will absolutely pile on.
They will take the NFL’s side and absolutely clown the Texans for this. How are the sports media and NFL the same thing? They are two completely different entities and two completely different jobs.
He basically said they’re painting a bad unfair picture of Al. Paraphrasing, because that’s not his character. And the league is being inconsistent with the way they’re handing out punishments.I don’t know what he said as the video isn’t captioned but I’m bettibg he was attacking the NFL, not the media.
And no one will care.. same media pumps the cowboys up as SB contenders every year, no one cares about that either. Texans just need to focus on themselves and block out irrelevant noise. The sports media/NFL, same thing. If the Texans do not go far in the playoffs, they will absolutely pile on.

He listed examples of how the league is inconsitent with punishment, and what Azeez got was proportionally more than other players with more ejections and fines. And he talked about how he is being demonized by so many on a personal level, attacking his character without knowing the person, and that it is not fair.I don’t know what he said as the video isn’t captioned but I’m bettibg he was attacking the NFL, not the media.
I comprehend just fine. I just disagree.Plenty would disagree, like Derek Stingley's grandfather. Junior Seau. I could go on, but I'm not sure you would comprehend.
One game is for the hit.
Second game is to protect Mahomes.
Third game is to protect Lamar.
ExactlyAnd no one will care.. same media pumps the cowboys up as SB contenders every year, no one cares about that either. Texans just need to focus on themselves and block out irrelevant noise.
Facts manHe basically said they’re painting a bad unfair picture of Al. Paraphrasing, because that’s not his character. And the league is being inconsistent with the way they’re handing out punishments.
Did we ever get favor? So I'm going to say, the same as usual.. but you act like this is just a Houston thing.. The way the league operates has to be at a all time low now.. and it crumbled with the handling of the Watson fiasco. Everyone hates them.. well except KC fansDirect it at the league. How’s that going to work out for calls in our favor?
no, the brawl came when the other team reated, no reaction, no brawl. You can stretch it to say that he was a catalyst, but he DID NOT start the fighting, that was 17 and 22. And I think the NFL is freaking crazy to think Azeez should just try to crawl to mama quietly after the sideline has thrown him to the ground violently. Should he have calmed down sooner, yes, but I know after I got into real fights I was not just chilling drinking a beer in 2 seconds, you are freaking jacked upThe linebacker created the brawl. Accountability is really an issue for some of you.
It will be fines for those guys. It’s like you haven’t been paying attention for years. Those guys have to be way over the top to get a suspension including punches, etc. As it is, they will be lighter in the wallet. You are OK with players creating brawls. Gotcha.
I guess you are finally coming down from your moral high ground to be with us regular folk.
I can't possibly have my feelings hurt by Screaming A.
Absolutely right when Stephen A calls Demeco’s response stupid before the suspension was even known. The fanboys I’m sure will have their feelings hurt.

It’s not. It seems a good portion of the Texans fan base can’t be objective.Crazy to think a professional athlete moving at full speed should be able to stop on a dime to accommodate the rules. I rewatched the play and Trevor took his time sliding in an effort to get a few extra yards instead of going down immediately. Azeez has 1 unnecessary roughness penalty all season and it was the hit on Trevor. Continued disregard for the game is just silly. He plays fast, tough and hard. This idea he’s a dirty player is silly
You've been the beacon of objectivity so far in this threadIt’s not. It seems a good portion of the Texans fan base can’t be objective.
I do not agree with the hit, I have never defended it.. he needs to do better. I also don't agree with the punishment given past precedent set. It's okay to disagree with both.Lots of hypocrisy and gaslighting in this thread. If a LB launched his full weight and used forearms like a club on CJ, the chatter here would be a 180. At least own your hypocrisy. And tell us your gaslighting instead of pretending.
As to the punishment, it’s well-deserved and appropriate. It’s two things - multiple repeat offender and the launch/use of forearms with no attempt to pull off or lessen the hit. In fact it was the exact opposite. Let’s be real - he meant to deliver that blow. He’s just an an incredibly stupid undisciplined player. I already stated what I would do - he would be looking for work elsewhere.
Instead, Jolly St. Nick comes in and does a drive by gaslighting and fake outrage episode. I never knew he could act. There appears to be a growing culture of entitlement over on Kirby. Not only not holding guys/coaches accountable, but defending them,
And we wonder why this team will still be wandering the desert for the next 40 years like the Israelites. When the standard is set low, you get a low standard. It’s simple math. Wash - Rinse - Repeat
Flacco got hit last year by one of Miami’s LB’s the same way. Dude got fined $9100.00 and that’s it. This is what Caserio was talking about.Crumbling? Everything the man said was the truth. There's no rhyme or reason to punishments the league dishes out. Zero consistency
I watched the play. He should have slid faster. Since we’re into pointing fingers.Bang bang play? Azeez had all the time in the world to avoid the hit.
I watched the play. He should have slid faster. Since we’re into pointing fingers.
I didn’t see anything INTENTIONAL in the play. Intentional, like picking up someone after the whistle is blown and throwing him to the ground intentional. That’s was what used to be the requirement for suspensions. But since the NFL is apparently not immune to the woke mind virus, it’s no longer the case. I’ve never seen such a thoughtless overreaction.

Too late. Nick doubling down didn’t helpWhat I care more about is that I don't want the Texans to develop a rep as a dirty ***** team. We start getting penalized more for that.
Bad enough we have a reputation as a completely inept, clown show team.
