Texans Vs Saints Gameday Thread

I love the guys that say he is done after 2 games... Pre season games no less.

Well... preseason is when you show the coaches and the world if you belong in the NFL. So far, he's not putting up a passing grade. The "light" better come on soon.

Well I have seen nothing from him that inspires confidence in him, have not heard any of the coaches talking him up (in contrast to most of the other rookies) so I am pretty happy to farewell him at this point.

He's a return specialist that can't return . . .

Kubiak has to make some cuts soon. Maybe Holliday makes it to the next cut, but I've seen nothing that would tell me he'll make it. Sure he has potential, but potential does not equal results.

When your trying to make the squad as a KR/PR and not a viable option on offense, muffing a punt isn't good. Hope he can come back and rebound, cause the kid has wheels.

I love the guys who defend professional players who don't do their job. Right now he is a one trick pony and can't even do the one trick.

2 games are enough to tell if a guy is doing his job or not? Seriously, I am not saying this kid will be rookie of the year or anything. I just think its premature to cut a rookie. Everyone new he was a bit of a project, thats why he fell to the 6th round.

Okay so how does New Orleans call another timeout to avoid the penalty . . and yet they don't get charged the timeout or get the penalty?

Crazy play by Brees right there.

Pollard's like "M-fing ref, you didn't see Brees break the line, you didn't see that sh.."......

He's a project as a WR/RB. There's no such thing as a project KR lol

Our defense looks like 1st Quarter 2009.

Oh, well.

It's only preseason right? (The Saints exposed our weakness-to-be-exploited
last preseason.)

Their will be 27 less names on the roster 10 days from now. Two games is really all you get. Next week will be regular season dress rehearsal.

We don't have roster spots to waste on projects any more.

Do you believe he dropped the ball again? This gives nerves a whole new meaning - give the kid a Xanax.

Now Schaub is sacked. This is a team that ain't ready for the playoffs - preseason or not.

True that. Come on though, everyone muffs a punt once in a while. It is too early to cut a drafted rookie. That is my position right now. He has all-pro speed and athleticism and he returned punts and kicks very well in college. He is just over thinking the pro game right now. Once he settles he should be alright.
