TEXANS -vs- JETS Gameday thread

Well, at least I have a good game of Dawn Of Discovery going. Something is going right today, and it ain't football.
 
Looks like our defense showed up to play, and our offense believes it
can score points on reputation alone.
 
Rain down those boos. Team needs to hear it. They need to sack up, and play in the second half. Get a stop on defense and the offense needs to get working.
 
Well, down by 10 points at the half is not the end of the world, but our offense so far doesn't give me much hope. Slaton is horrible, Schaub is getting his ass kicked, and our O line hasn't really showed up. On the bright side, the Texans has been OK with stopping the run, but the defense doesn't have an offense that is scoring points for them.

Horrible first half, just frigging horrible.

Other than the fumble, Slaton's not at fault. The O-line is giving him nothing.
 
Texans make me want to be a Jets fan, they have a good looking future win or lose today with Ryan.

Anyone think kubiak is too nice or just not mean enough?

I guess since it was after the play was over. Just be glad that it didnt give them an extra down.

The offense needs to wake up or man up or whatever and start putting point on the ****ing board.
 
Blown oppurtunities, should have two ints. Anybody else notice, every time we fumble the football it goes right to the other team but if the other team fumbles it somehows goes right back to them?

So, any spindoctors out there gonna make me feel better about that 1st half....geez. And I am so f-ing tired of hearing the absolute jock licking by simms in the booth on sanchez......he's really only had 1 maybe 2 outstanding plays and they act like he's peyton manning. WTF? I really hope we see a better secong half...it sucks that I'm actually doing laundry during the game....that's how bad our offense looked...D looked ok for the most part. I want a win so bad today.....please make it happen Texans!!

Mccain's blown coverage was INEXCUSABLE!!
Even a 3-year-old KNOWS that when you ZERO BLITZ,
the coverage is MAN-TO-MAN!!!

Breisal and Myers should only be in our long term plans as backups.

We are allowing them to shut down AJ and key in on the run we need to be spreading the offense out.

We still arent getting good enough pressure on the QB.

Im sick off our secondary with their arm tackling.

On the bright side our run D seems better.

Thats all.
 
I think Sanchez has looked pretty good for a rookie. He's inconsistent, following up a great play with a wildly rash decision. However he has stepped up in pressure, both on pressure downs and with defensive pressure coming on.

We've completely taken their RB's out of the game, which should mean that we can pin our ears back and mow Sanchez over. But unless the secondary steps up, we can't really go all in.

Here here, got a buddy of mine, jets fan, texting me saying he don't look like a rook, my arse, he should have two ints right now if we could just catch his damn mistakes!
