A very Texan thing to do is to pick up a receiver on waivers that’s better than your 3rd string receiver but yet you choose to give the 3rd stringer the bulk of the plays. Unreal.

Said it at the time. He had no special trait to trade up for. He was a decent prospect, not great. I had him as a third rounder or high 4th. Nick blew that pick, plus the loss of the players given up in the trade up on top of that.

Nicks record is very hit and miss. Some really great picks and some really awful ones.
