Chubbs is unlikely to revive his career anywhere.
In his 2023 knee injury, Chubb dislocated his left knee and suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), medial capsule, meniscus, medial collateral ligament (MCL), and significant articular joint cartilage damage.
What most fans are not aware of, at Georgia in his sophomore year in 2015, he dislocated that same left knee and suffered suffered a torn MCL, PCL, LCL and articular joint cartilage damage in addition to a hamstring tear. He was beyond fortunate to have returned from that injury the way he did.
Last year after the most recent return from his last knee surgeries, he suffered a noncontact, non Jones metatarsal fracture of his left foot to end his season..........no doubt secondary to compensation for knee dysfunction which was clearly evident by his questionable return performance.
With the type of trauma his knee has sustained, his gait has been altered by many potential factors..........pain, instability and/or limited range of motion..........all of which are negatively affected to some degree following his knee history. These alterations have the knee compensate by shifting weight or pressure unevenly, placing more stress on the foot. This increased stress plays particularly on the metatarsals.
Having suffered such extensive damage to his left knee within the last 10 years, he will not be so fortunate in an effective comeback.
