I would think he’ll play but may be snap limited. Not in football shape. Maybe he gets 20ish snaps who knows. I’d guess he will be there most 3rd downs. He’s also a different type than Edwards. I think Settle moves up a notch to start, Hinish will be his backup on early/run downs, and Autry plays inside on 3rd down. He could also spell Hunter or Anderson a few times if they need a blow or get dinged up.

Just a FYI, Kendrick Green also cross-trained as a FB with the Steelers all through the 2023 preseason before being traded to the Texans.
Ogunbowale is not a FB & has never been asked to run block a day in his life. Ogunbowale is an excellent pass blocker. Hairston is the only true FB on the roster.

People might disagree with me or saying that this isn't a need. Diggs is not going to be playing. Why doesn't Houston go after Michael Thomas. One of the biggest downfalls in history but I really think it would be a great asset with Stroud knowing that Nico and Diggs are gonna be out. He had a toe injury and somehow hasn't been the same since but was once a top 5 receiver in the league. Good veteran for Tank.....?

I don't know about "leader" but he definitely gave the chiefs some issues in that SB. He's a great pass rusher from that LB position i just don't know how much of a factor he'll be in the Jets game b/c Rodgers has seen it all & if there's any inkling of a blitz coming, Rodgers will see it and get the ball out quickly. That's about all he does now is get the ball out quickly.
