This edition is in memory of a great leader in fight for Human Rights by non violent means. In Football & in society in general there is far too much, loss of control in emotions & respect for each other. NOTE: used one of the 5th round picks to move up in second to secure O'Brian's QB.
First Round: Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame, 6-3 240
Smith tore the ACL and LCL in his left knee against Ohio State Jan. 1, but the procedure to repair the ligaments "went about as well as it possibly could have," a source with knowledge of the situation reported. Full recover is expected however instead of being a top 10 lock he slides down towards end of first round in Texan territory. Same Vision different path will overcome adversity https://twitter.com/JaeeSmiff9ENT/status/686599061173055488 Texan fans of all walks in life will love him both as a player & person.
Second Round: Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State, 6-4 236
After being anointed coming to Penn State with new coach Bill O'Brian as the "future No. 1 overall pick" post Bill, he has struggled & dealt with his own demons of a different kind.
Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg is leaving school early for the NFL. Hackenberg declared his intentions following a 24-17 loss to Georgia in the TaxSlayer Bowl on Saturday. "This place means a lot to me," Hackenberg said. "It's been an awesome ride, tough way to end it today. It means the world to me. My family and I talked about it and we felt this was the best decision for me. I felt my role here and my job here has been accomplished." Hackenberg left the game in the second quarter with a right shoulder injury. Linebacker Roquan Smith landed on his shoulder after a scramble. Hackenberg stayed in the game and threw four more passes, but grabbed the shoulder between plays.
He headed to the locker room after an incompletion and returned for the second half in street clothes. He said he wanted to play, but team officials told him no. "It is what it is," said Hackenberg, who hadn't missed a snap in three years before Saturday. "I'm disappointed I wasn't able to finish the game." Hackenberg said he made his decision to turn pro before the team left State College for Jacksonville. Hackenberg, a junior, is the school's all-time leader in yards passing (8,457) and touchdowns (48) as well as completions, attempts and total offense. He completed 8 of 14 passes for 139 yards against Georgia. - AP Sports
Third Round: Sebastian Tretola, OG, Arkansas, 6-5 334
Brooks will be a free agent if his agent & Texans don't agree to terms opening up a position of need on interior of OL. Tretola has been Arkansas' starting left guard over the last 23 games and has graded over 80 percent in 10 of 12 contests this season. The senior earned SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors earlier this season and in over 25 career games at Arkansas, he has only allowed a half-sack to help the Razorbacks lead the SEC in fewest sacks allowed the last two seasons.
Fourth Round: Jordon Howard, RB, Indiana, 6-1 225
Has NFL size O'Brian covets had to overcome transferring Senior season because team he was on UAB, dropped football program so came to Indiana filling some big shoes left by Tevin Coleman (drafted 3rd rd. Atlanta). In his only season with the Hoosiers, the junior rushed for 1,213 yards and nine touchdowns despite missing the equivalent of five plus games due to injury. Despite the shortened season Howard still managed to finish third in the Big Ten in rushing and has set himself up to be one of the top backs in the 2016 draft.
Fifth Round: Willie Henry, DT, Michigan, 6-3 311
Better suited inside than Crick, who will be a free agent, Willie can work himself in the rotation to fill nose tackle in Crennel's 3-4.

Fifth Round: Texan GM Rick Smith trades up in 2nd round using 5th round pick to the Giants jumping ahead of Chicago, New Orleans & Philly.
Sixth Round: Sean Price, TE, South Florida, 6-3 249
Fluid with soft hands that can run after the catch. Fits in a New England style where a QB can spread defenses out by distributing the ball, good open field blocker & adds another offensive weapon @ position of need. 6-3, 249-pound Price brings 42 career receptions into his third season at USF, after posting 21 catches in each of his first two seasons. Price is the only American Athletic Conference player selected to the 2014 watch list of 38 players nationwide. Price was a preseason first-team all-conference selection by Phil Steele. Raised by his grandparents he was voted homecoming king ... spent numerous hours volunteering to clean his school and in the community ... participated in car wash fundraisers ... earned academic honors all four years.
