Depends on the franchise and what they decide. They all give them way more time than you think apparently. What's an ample amount of time? 3 yrs, 5 yrs, 10 yrs?
You dont have time to respond to his post but you have time to make a post this long. LMAO
I believe posters are comparing DW4 to Mahomes, a guy who's had less starts than DW4 is and a guy I consider a true franchise QB.
Since franchise QBs never throw INTs. You're welcome.Have those receivers been running into each other when the last few games ints happened?

Apparently you like mediocre qbs like Josh AllenYep, he was backing up Vick.
QB's playing in a pro bowl really doesn't mean much is my point.

Not true at all.
This has nothing to do with that playoff game.. The better team won.
This is about DW4 still making the same mistakes 2 + yrs later.
I like consistent QB's.
Although he doesn't have the stats Allen has been the more consistent QB this yr.
Let me know when DW4 plays well enough to get his team to an AFCCG (Which Mahomes did his 2nd yr, 1st yr of playing) and takes Belichick/Brady to the brink.
Yeah like the three interception game he had against the Patriots? I will bet money you don’t even see any Bills games. You just throw poop up to see what sticks to the wall. You have no stats no nothing to back up your argument.I like consistent QB's.

Every damn QB makes a lot of the same freaking mistakes. When Coach Sean P got suspended, did you not see the rookie type mistakes Drew Breezy was making. The great P. Manning was notorious for making very costly mistakes in the playoffs. Someone already pointed out after year 3 dude threw 80 interceptions. Wow so why the F are you being so critical about Watson. The stuff just doesn't make any sense. It's like you're trying so hard to be right thus the reason you keep going on and on. How about talking about the good things he's done for awhile. Maybe some of us will believe you're not just crapping on the kid. Especially after you called him what you call him.
He has not been consistent and it was pointed out to you a few days ago. Again anything or anyway to crap on Watson.
Because QBs who go to the AFCCG. Never throw INTs.

Alright, get back to me when DW4's accomplished what Mahomes already has.
I watch every NFL game on shortcuts.I've seen plenty of Allen's games when I haven't been at the Texans games. He was one of my FF QB's. He's had a very good yr. I will bet you haven't seen one of his games and have only looked at stats.
BTW, we will see how much growth Allen has made this weekend.

Hmm but in the Tunsil thread an LT playing in a pro bowl means he was worth two 1st round picks, and you claim Watson is inconsistent.![]()
You mean other than the stats that absolutely proved he hasn't been the more consistent QB this year.
Not sure why I bother, but it's kinda fun I guess?
Dont bother then
Go back to thinking you can win a championship with DW4.

By the way, speaking of Allen. Here is analysis with video and stats. LMAOApparently you like mediocre qbs like Josh Allen
I think on the 2nd INT, DW just needs to make a better throw. The trajectory needs to be higher so that it's an over the shoulder catch for Fuller. Either it's a nice catch by Fuller or incomplete. Here are two good views of what Watson was seeing on the two INTs. Watching the video, see when Duke Johnson raises his hand up and then watch where he goes. On the 2nd INT, just a great play by the LB. He did not fall for the play action. However, if Fuller runs an out instead of a slant into the heart of the defense, it's an easy TD.
Everyone keeps saying they are tired of just regular season success and the only thing that matters is the playoffs. Ok then let me ask you what has Watson shown in the playoffs to make us think he's the guy? He's only had one appearance and if we had to judge it based on just that we sho

With Jackson its not that I think he will go the route of Cam Newton as much as when the off season rolls around and teams get some film on him then they will figure out how to better handle him just like they did this year with Mahomes and last year with Watson. Doesn't mean they will totally stop him but it won't be the complete domination we are currently seeing. Hell BB might already have the formula, he did with Mahomes in the AFCC, but I don't know if he has the team to pull it off and Harbaugh is a way better coach than Reid and OB so I think he'll be better prepared for it though that maybe the fan in me talking.
I agree and I would much rather they bring in a new OC for whatever pennies they get paid and even a new HC for 4-5 million before we hand Watson a blank check. Maybe this year will answer those questions and we'll see a deep run at least but we haven't seen anything so far that makes me want to keep OB or pay Watson. Sadly I know that none of that will happen.
28-30 before/without Watson
23-13 with Watson
That’s not a whole lot of difference??
Reviewing some plays on the All-22. Here's a play where I have NO idea what Zach Cunningham is doing. It leads to the last Titans TD. The TD wasn't important, but what was more concerning was how fast they were able to score.
Some notes:
- Surprised that RAC actually called a blitz here. I like the play call.
- Watch Zach Cunningham, can someone explain to me what he's doing? He's lined up in the B-gap, between the tackle & guard. Initially, it looks like he's going to rush the passer. Both the tackle & guard are occupied, so looks like should be a free run at the QB. Zach had other ideas for some reason? He cuts to the left???
- I was thinking, maybe the RB is his responsibility and he notices he's leaking out but loses him once Lewis is out of the backfield.
- Whit's pass-rush move there is weak. He tries to swipe Lewan's arm away but totally whiffs then is easily pushed to the ground. Every pass rusher is singled-up and no one is winning their battle.
- Roby has to make that tackle. This was the 2nd missed tackle by the corners on this drive.
EDIT: The video wasn't attached for some reason, patience while I get it back.
The last Titans TD. I just added a link to the video.Which play are you talking about?
Personally, I was on the verge of abandoning this forum and was going to return to lurking more than posting. However, this current conversation and analysis reminds me why I joined this board. Good work. Maybe going forward, whoever can find a video or diagram of a good or bad play from the last game, post and we discuss.
The Bucs will be a good test of just how mentally tough the Texans are. They can clinch the division. A team that expects to win in the playoffs should take care of business Saturday.
Truthfully the Bucs seem to be a pretty good team. If they were in the AFC they would probably be in the playoff hunt. Out of the 7 games they have lost only 2 teams (Giants & Panthers) have a losing season. In fact 4 out of the 7 they lost to are 11-3.How do you mean?
Do you mean TB sucks & we should handle them easily?
It's a short week & we are playing a 500 team we should beat on paper. It just seems like the perfect recipe where the Texans could have some sort of let down.
A couple of weeks ago I thought this was going to be a very difficult game. Probably the most difficult of the last 4 game cakewalk we were all expecting not that long ago. But with their two 1,000 yard studs out, I feel a little better. Tampa could still do well against this poor Texans D, but I still think missing those 2 huge pieces will slow them down some.I think the Bucs are good enough to beat us if we don't show up & play our best.
A team getting to an AFCCG is more than QB play, although QB play is certainly a big part of it. It is a total team and coaching effort (and a little bit of luck). You can not look at a QB in isolation and not consider the other variables.Let me know when DW4 plays well enough to get his team to an AFCCG (Which Mahomes did his 2nd yr, 1st yr of playing) and takes Belichick/Brady to the brink.
He (O'Brien) is not nearly a bad as many on this board say he is.
