St. Louis Rams @ Houston Texans. Noon. 10/13. FOX. **Official Game Thread**

Why are the 2 sonic guys always having a car lunch together? You would think they would sit outside sometimes or hang out with other people. Just saying.......

they prob dont want people to recognize them from all the Sonic commercials and want to eat lunch in peace :kitten:

the play calling would indicate we are starting a rookie at QB, and it feels that way too.

I don't know if the WRs just can't get open down field, but it feels like defenses are giving Schaub the underneath stuff regularly and making sure they aren't beaten downfield. With this team's propensity to self-destruct with turnovers and penalties, that's not a bad strategy, as they'd have to string 12-15 plays (or more) without shooting themselves in the foot to get a TD. Right now it feels like that's too much to ask for.

They are quitting on Gary. They are quitting on Schaub - except AF. This is a coaching problem. Coach has lost control of the team

When Schaub is the cause of the prior 3 games of sucking than yes, Schaub hasnt F'd up today yet, so what do you expect. Each game is its own story.

Yeah because kubiak threw those pick 6's. Let your crush of schaub go and realize he sucks.

Who's job is it to hold players accountable for not executing? The janitors at Reliant? The parking lot attendants?

I don't think they are quitting, but I do completely agree that Kubiak has lost this team. This looks like a team that has lost all confidence in his ability to lead and direct them.

Sorry you guys, but you just come off as desperate couch coaches who have no idea what you are talking about and just need a scape goat.

The team as a whole is playing like crap, and it's in your nature to blame the guy you hate, but sometimes you just gotta put it on the players who have been given the right information, and been worked out properly, but are just not showing up on game day.

But go ahead and keep on posting your opinions about who's fault it is. It's very amusing.

Lol. Game day trolls are so fun.

Coach will always be blamed right or wrong. I still think we need a QB an coaching change

Many of these mistakes scream "lack of discipline", and that almost always comes from the top. I don't think a suggestion that this comes from coaching reveals "no idea what (we) are talking about."

Part of coaching is instilling a sense of discipline and accountability, and right now there seems to be little of either on this team.

It's not the manager's fault. I think this is one of the basic tenets of the good ol' boy network.

This game would be a lot more entertaining if they just switched to a shot of the parking lot instead, and showed that sideline reporter washing cars.

Looks like the team strategy that came from that meeting was for the team to dial it back so schaub didn't look so glaringly awful!

3rd and 10, 5 yard throw. This is horrible to watch.
Kubiak and Schaub.

Can we go back in time to our 2-14 season in 2005 and make a hard push for Sean Payton and Drew Brees instead?

The Saints also sucked that season but they seem to have struck gold with their new QB and head coach. One Super Bowl win and many exciting and high-scoring offenses since.

But seriously, I like Kubiak and Schaub but this is frustrating. We have a Super Bowl contender and are about to be 2-4 if we don't come alive soon.

I go back to what I said earlier. Texans are falling further behind, normal caoch/QB would start to throw down field. Not this bunch for a number of reasons. Stubborn and the QB can't risk a deep throw as a pick at home and he is done.

This defense is so desperate to get a turnover that they're letting the RBs get extra yards while they try to strip it. Not a good strategy.

Schaub hears the rush behind him and crumbles into a fetal position on that play. Bradford hangs in and makes a 34-yard play.
