That's fine. & I would be upfront about it as well.
But, let me be sure I understand what you guys are saying. If I ran a pest extermination business & some rich affluent person came to me, while I was servicing his house, & said, "Perform Oral sex on me, or I will make sure you never get another contract in this city." You all believe a person could possibly feel obligated to perform such service? Without any other threat of violence?
Preposterous
You don't think men have been doing similar things to women in the workplace for decades ?
The threat of being ruined professionally is just as threatening , if not more so than being physically threatened , particularly for a young , single mother which many of these women were.
The physical threat walks out the door with him , the threat of professional and financial ruin is dependent upon his actions after the fact.
The threat of their career being ruined and the subsequent loss of income is quite real.
That threat coming from someone like Watson - with his reputation at the time & "credibility" as an influencer with millions of followers ?
How many commercials has he been paid to pitch ? Companies pay this guy to endorse their wares because of the gravity of his persona.
Who are these women's clients but other athletes - Watson's peers of whom he has their ear .... Yes , they could easily feel capitulated.
Hell we have over 30 women making claims against him and many argue its nothing more than a money grab by a bunch of sex workers. They are being drug thru the proverbial mud right now as a result ....
And lets not forget that there are multiple victims who state he used physical force.
