Fact that Watson not going all out to refute this is making me very nervous. Why is he not in front of the TV saying this is a SMEAR campaign.

I do not think other teams will hesitate much over what he allegedly did but rather how the NFL will discipline him if it decides to. NFL seems to 'over correcting' to correct image of it's past decisions.

If these charges are proven and NFL suspends DW4 ... 6-8 games...

That impacts a trade.

Knowing his modus operandi, I would at least expect a few cryptic song lyric quotes-

I am looking at it as if it were in a court case where the prosecutor is giving his opening statement and the defense attorney gets his shot next. I also understand the defense can waive an opening statement until later in the trial if there is one. This seems to be more of a hearing than a trial at this point.

TBH I am not as concerned about the Civil action but what the NFL commissioner may decide to do. The NFL could use these allegations to punish Watson for his overall actions in his trade demand.
 
I don't really believe it, but I'd laugh if it is true and everyone criticized the "franchise just wants character Christian choir boys!" and all that other garbage to rush to the defense of someone who did, in fact, do this.

The irony and pleasure I'd get from it is almost worth the chaos.
