Preseason Game 1 Thread: Chiefs @ Texans

The video is cutting to receivers just as the ball gets there so we don't see how long the receivers are open but for the most part neither quaterback has gotten the ball to the receivers at a point where they had a chance for extra yards. The defense is all over the passes. I don't know if the passes are on time or late though because we don't get an early peek.

watching that last drive by the Chiefs makes me worried about our D-line...to me it looked like they had no desire...they just didn't seem to be playing with any aggression.

the ball was in the air and it was a small push...I'd hope they don't call that stuff myself.

The one I saw was after the ball hit the ground maybe we saw something different

It's only the first half of preseason and it was our second team, they have looked better on the last 2 plays.

ok...I'll reword...it was not in anyones possession and the ball was still live...but it was the same thing.

ND Kalu first sack of the year. Printers held on to the ball too long.

whomever was playing RG was totally pancaked on that play.

*edit* that was the blocking back...explains it
IIRC, that was Lundy. That block was...the worst pancake I ever saw. Lundy was thrown off his feet.

at least the linemen was on the ground after engaging. If that was Dom or Jon Wells they would have whiffed.

How has Mario looked? Is he pressuring the QB?
I'll say he's done his job. I saw him OWN some KC blockers, but I don't remember seeing any plays run to his side of the field, so he didn't get any sacks or tackles. Ryans, on the other hand...is obviously a rook.

Any live stream audio/video that anyone know off? I'm stuck here wih 610 baseball /Houston draft-trash-talk :( ?

3 am, I want something better, more :)

He's getting to the corner but hasn't really put any heat on....yet!

And we will probably be hearing in the national media tonight how we screwed up by drafting Mario...

Whats wrong with Ryans? Has he missed tackles?

Owen Daniels is proving me wrong and im glad :whip: Sage is doing a pretty good job distrubuting the ball.

On the show that came on before the game, the one by NFL Films, Kubiak was seen calling out Lundy on his blocking, telling him to keep his shoulders going up and holding his ground. Seems like Lundy has had this problem before.

What a play fake!! Seriously, Rosenfels is battling for the starter job and is so far playing much better than Carr.

Lundy barely stopped before the TD. 53 and Chester Pitts had some nice blocks, Spencer and the TE next to him did a nice job of blocking the end, but I expected more from Spencer.

Lundy is doing almost as good of a job as Reggie, but unlike Reggie, is scoring touchdowns.

Two minute warning already....this game is on steroids....hurry, call the French steroid police.....it's 1800 Tour De France.

as of exactly right now..the Saints have 6 points and no points from Reggie. Still living in the past I see.

Rosenfels looks really sharp and aware...unlike Carr.

The Chiefs were running down the middle with ease. Ryans picked some wrong spots to attack and should have had more patience before moving. Nothing serious, he'll get better throughout the next few games.

Video or Audio, Anyone, plz? Denmark is in the dark, 3am+ here and baby needs football :)

Best bet is nfl.com's gamecenter. That's how I'm watching it.

TEXANS TOUCHDOWN!!!!:bananasplit:

The Nazi Football League, I mean the national football league has banned all internet broadcasts of nfl games through video or audio, meaning you either have to get direct TVs sunday ticket or buy the "field pass" on nfl.com

I despite the inner-workings of the NFL

That's mostly what the common-taters have talked about but our tackle play blew chunks in front of him.

Watching on channel 18 (timewarner). Sage & Lundy are looking good. So is the Oline. I just worry about our starting Defense because of our problems stopping the run, but at least this is the first preseason game :)

That's All I'm getting, the best I'll get.

So far, Houston has more rushing yards than passing yards in the first half.. makes you wonder.

Rush Rush Pass Punt ? :)
