As the 2 talking heads said, they saw no holding. His hands would have been high on shoulders and in view. My understanding is most plays called for holding to defenders torso are not called unless defender is tackled or tossed to ground.on the hold on Tunsil the camera is pointed at Tunsil’s back. No I didn’t see holding. It doesn’t mean there wasn’t one. I couldn’t see his hands. Did you have X-ray vision and see his hands?
on the PI on Sting, sorry to disappoint you but that was a PI. He didn’t look back in time. Agreed that it was one of those judgement calls that can go either way, but was it a legit PI call? Yes 100%.
what else do you want to ***** about form the ref’s?
with what draft capital??? did you not notice the mess bill o dumbarse and jack easterby left this organization in???I expected something out his free agency and draft picks last three years
Kinda how you build a team
Fairly competitive loss on the road with like a quarter of our starters out with injuries against probably the 2nd or 3rd toughest team we play this year. As close as one can come to a moral victory in this league I'd say.
Disagree. Year 3 is correct. In my book, Texans don't get a new three years because they get a new coaching staff. I look at what has been brought in under Culley and Lovie and then observe what Ryans staff does. No one expects a SB and slightly more expect POs but we do expect significant improvement.Year 3??? Wow, when did u start ur clock??? I started mine the day we hired Demeco Ryans...if you expected something out of Culley and Lovie then thats on you...
If you draft a great one big plays will follow.More snaps by how many and that is my frustration. Seems like we're always trying to find a tight end and then not do anything with them.
Yall can think what yall want...the clock started on Caserio 3 yrs ago, but again the REBUILD...thats hard to do w/ no draft capital and all ur stars traded away for peanuts. We havent had high draft picks that belonged to us until this years draft and we had a HELLUVA draft.Disagree. Year 3 is correct. I think gradual betterment assures minimal heat on Demeco this season as most I am aware of are focusing on 2024 to see results of last three off-seasons.
We are in year 3 of the rebuild
My thought is you don't know great when you draft. Crap shoot compared to Hill and less risk with what you're getting. I would trade for Tyreek even if I knew we could draft Marvin Harrison. If you draft a great one big plays will follow.
Yes. You can say 3rd year for Caserio's clock but many think Nick just did what he was told. I'm willing to see how Nick's off-season does.Yall can think what yall want...the clock started on Caserio 3 yrs ago, but again the REBUILD...thats hard to do w/ no draft capital and all ur stars traded away for peanuts. speaking of game 2, anyone get word on richardsons injury?? didnt look serious but believe they took him out after the hit...not sure of anything beyond that...Yes. You can say 3rd year for Caserio's clock but many think Nick just did what he was told. I'm willing to see how Nick's off-season does.
Of course it's hard to do but you rebuild with what you have.
Ryans agreed to the consequences brought about by his predecessors.
On to game 2.

I’ve rewatched the game already. PI is like holding. Yes you CAN call it on every single pass play, but it isn’t b/c usually the refs recognize the WR’s are pushing and interfering almost as much as the DB is and they let the hand fighting go for the most part.As the 2 talking heads said, they saw no holding. His hands would have been high on shoulders and in view. My understanding is most plays called for holding to defenders torso are not called unless defender is tackled or tossed to ground.
Seems like most here disagree with your POV on Sting turning in time. I only saw the game and hope to have better slow time views this week.
I will post more 5 stars when I review more. Thanks for asking.
That would make this team a championship contender. My thought is you don't know great when you draft. Crap shoot compared to Hill and less risk with what you're getting. I would trade for Tyreek even if I knew we could draft Marvin Harrison.
I wasnt frustrated at all watching the game. Lots of promise out there. Tough situation for this teams first game and they werent embarrassed.
Wasnt perfect but they have lots of good things to build off of.
It seems Quitoriano took more snaps than Schultz. I wasn't expecting that.
Per PFR Schultz had 62 snaps and was targeted 4 times, 2 for 4ydsMore snaps by how many and that is my frustration. Seems like we're always trying to find a tight end and then not do anything with them.
Thank you. I knew that couldn't be right, which is why I said "seems"Per PFR Schultz had 62 snaps and was targeted 4 times, 2 for 4yds
Quitoriano had 22 snaps and was targeted 1 time, 1 for 11yds
Who cares what others think. It was nice watching GMFB this morning and they weren't laughing at the Texans for what seems like the first time in 3 years

I have no frustration with this game. I didn't go into it expecting anything different than what we got.
But there were flashes and things that we can build on. Now, it's up to them to build on that stuff and get better.
I wish I could say the same for your posts but you live in too many heads for thatWho cares what others think.
I thought McNairs cared about what others think?Who cares what others think.
I remember a time when the media used to laugh at Luhnow/Stros.
you expected the tight ends to be ignored? You expected the running backs to be non-successful? You expected poor play calling by the offensive coordinator? You expected Fant to be replaced by Dieter who created a sack on his first snap? You expected the score at half time?I have no frustration with this game. I didn't go into it expecting anything different than what we got.
But there were flashes and things that we can build on. Now, it's up to them to build on that stuff and get better.
I think I heard a loud giggle coming from north of HoustonI mentioned during pre season that the TEs looked like they were going to be an issue...including Schultz.
I dont know if hes dealing with something or if hes just cooked but hes not moving the same. If i had to bet id go with cooked.
My sources tell me they have started a new blog to discuss their theme song I want to be an Oiler.Random, but where did all the guys at Battleredblog go? Was good to have another place to talk Texans content.

You think I'm new here?with what draft capital??? did you not notice the mess bill o dumbarse and jack easterby left this organization in???
Columbia blue, I just can't get enough of you!Whats the blog name lol
The McNair's only care about the bottom line.I thought McNairs cared about what others think?
I thought the defense performed about what I expected, not enough to win but enough to show they have some good promise.
The offense actually performed better than what I expected, even with that horrid o-line.
It was actually a promising start to the season for what was a very VERY poor team from last year.
Agreed 1000%.Not good enough to win with an anemic offense .... but the defense played well enough to win if the offense is just decent in most weeks, if the offense can extend a drive here or there that improves the performance of the defense indirectly.
You must be new. It's been one game fellas are we really going to say someone is legit or washed based on one single game?
Just totally ignored the "coming off his worst season" part of the comment. It's been one game fellas are we really going to say someone is legit or washed based on one single game?
