#Texans Offense had

7 plays of 20+ yards.
5 plays of 25+ or more
3 plays of 30+ or more.

and lost.

Texans can produce chunks plays like no other. They really do not have an in-between. They are like a true power hitter dropping bombs but hitting .202 for average. They have to find ways to sustain drives on O.

The problem is we are terrible in the red zone in which he said was a point of emphasis in OTA and Training camp ...... whenever we had a chunk play I pray they score cuz when they don’t get in and put us in a red zone offense..... drive stalls 9 times out of 10

Sarcasm is when Bill O'Brien says the same BS every post game.
We lost O'Brien! Stop acting like we can fix this mess.

If I were Bill O'Brien I would just resign with some class.

He's even worse than Kubiak during our 2-14 season. And we fired Gary Kubiak late in that season. I doubt O'Brien will make it the entire year. Especially if we get off to an 0-6 or 0-7 start.

Some of you say we'll beat the Bills.
Didn't they just beat a good Vikings team, 27-6?

Sigh, oh well. We'll be 0-4 after we lose at Indy.

Not sure about that. They repeatedly had Penaltys killing drives - and for whatever reason Watson has problems when we get in the redzone. Last season he always found the Sweet Spot in the Defense to throw a TD. This year he struggles with that. Plus the Turnovers of course.

Like last week - we were the better team, we just weren‘t Executing on key plays. This comes down to coaching and individual mistakes (which you could also Attribute to coaching).
 
Texans best offense is spread it out and let Deshaun create...problem is that offense is gonna get him killed...

He took way too many shot doing that and he won’t last 16 games playing that way...

lol....you may have thought you could win last week because Tennessee was undermanned. I really hope this is what you meant. But at full health, in no way, shape or form is Houston better than Tennessee. Sorry dude, but Tennessee is better than your team is.

Looks like someone was watching the game. Davenport did his best to kill drives. Every single time we got rolling a penalty put us behind the chains.

What I meant: we were the better team in the game last week. We just didn‘t execute in key plays. Like the Fake Punt. Like the two missed FGs. Like our turnovers. Like our last play that took forever. We were moving the ball better and our Defense was better at Stopping them. If we just executed on those plays, we would have won.

We didn’t fire anyone. If “we” had that kind of power we’d go through 5 or 6 HCs a year. Honestly, if I wasn’t already fed up with O’Brien I would have fired him after he said “it’s not my job...”.
 
If that's the case that he's lost the locker room, I'm glad the team is classy enough to not air out the dirty laundry unlike those cancerous drama queen losers in, say, Pittsburgh.

The Texans have not looked like the better team in game than any opponent they've had this year. I have no clue what you are talking about or how you could possibly think otherwise.

Every team in the league can point to numerous things where if they would've "just executed" them they would've won. This is in no way exclusive to the Texans. In fact, there are 5 things today that if the Giants would've "just executed"....they would've beaten you by 5 scores....lol
 
Anyone remember four years ago?

Texans were struggling to start the season. Giants were looking even worse. They go head to head... Giants expose the Texans & their coaching...
 
At least the Astros are warming up. Astrober is around the corner guys. Time to turn our attention from the boys down on Kirby to the MEN inside the juice box on Crawford.

It was worse being at NRG. I watched bob on the sidelines. After the first quarter he really did not talk to any one in person. He just looked at his baby blanket sheet and fiddled with his controls on his hip. His body language was terrible. Just looked down at ground. His coaches were just standing during half twists shaking their heads like they could not believe what was happening. This coaching staff is overmatched. It is like the saying, "they just don't know because they don't know" I see no hope for this offense with BOB at the helm. Sorry guys. You get what you get when BOB in charge. At least Rick isn't here trying to cover another one of his mistakes like a cat covering its poop by giving away our draft choices. If he just hadn't signed an extension i think he would be gone before end of season. Now I am not sure. I do know DW won't last the season. BOB's offense and play calling will make that happen. DW trys to make something out of a bad offensive plan and will get hurt.

When you have to listen to your head coach say it isn't my job to call a TO to give refs a chance to review a play inside two minutes you could be a Texans fan
When you have to listen to you hc have an attitude after another lost you could ..................................
When you have to say who is this idiot OC calling these plays and then remember oh wait we don't have an OC you could................................
When you watch your HC wander on the sideline trying to not make eye contact you could be.................................
When you have to wonder why the hell your HC just got an extension you could be ....................................
When you are still a little worried your team may give your 1.1 wanna be stud an max contract you could be...........................
When you feel sorry for the players that are playing their hearts out in vain because coaching sucks you could be ...............................
When you could come up with a hundred more of these without even thinking you are a Texans fan.

In all honesty, I wouldn't have a problem with this. But that means we trust our new GM to hire the right people, and therein lies the hitch. Myself, I'm willing to give him a chance. At least break up the monotony and give us something new to complain about. A new staff from top to bottom would give us endless new discussions to repeat ourselves in.
 
And to think I bet money the Toros would have a more successful season than the Cowboys!

Just like the last time, the GM in place has a relationship with the head coach. Those two operated hand in, hand in talking about the unity of vision they had concerning the roster construction and team building.
