NFL Random Thought of the Day

From what I am hearing, Rodgers is now also dealing with a hamstring injury in addition to his previous ankle and knee injuries. These compensatory injuries are not a very unusual state of affairs after a player returns from an Achilles. Watson has the same to look forward to.

Cardinals LB Dennis Gardeck tore his ACL Monday night for the 2nd time in 3 years. After some deep digging, I found that He actually also tore his ACL in senior year in high school (2017). All of his ACL ruptures have been of his right knee...................ACL #21.

The Modell Law (as I posted previously in this thread) is short, concise, and clearly in no need of interpretation...............drafted for the sole purpose of maintaining the team in Cleveland forever and not having to revisit this subject again.

Haslam!...........What don't you understand?.........................Do you not understand English?...............What school you went?????? :foottap:

Darrisaw, who has been having a Pro Bowl-caliber season, was blocking with 35 seconds remaining in the half as the Vikings were trying to run the clock out. Rams safety Jaylen McCollough fell into Darrisaw's left knee, and it twisted awkwardly as Darrisaw fell.

I don't know how they deemed it a hip drop tackle as Smith was under Godwin and did not leave his feet
Smith's tackle on Godwin with 1:04 remaining in regulation resulted in the receiver suffering a dislocated left ankle. Smith, who can be seen on the play pulling on Godwin's left leg, will get a league-mandated fine of $16,833, a source said.

Smith can appeal the ruling.

I found a video angle of the play which did show that Smith landed on Godwin's leg/ankle before rolling off of it. Smith never leaves his feet. These plays still are very confusing to me.

Darrisaw suffered the injury late in the first half of the Vikings' 30-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night. Tests performed Friday in Minnesota revealed the necessity for season-ending surgery.

Vikings LT Christian Darrisaw sustained an MCL and ACL rupture..........................................ACL #22.

Micah Parsons shouldn’t play until he’s 100 percent, or until he gets paid

On Sunday night, Cowboys defensive standout Micah Parsons will miss his third straight game with an ankle injury. He should stay away until he’s completely 100 percent.

Parsons has yet to get the second contract he deserves. He’s due to make only $2.989 million this year.

He should have held out. Now that he’s injured, he should refuse to return until his high ankle sprain has fully healed. Or until the Cowboys give him the contract he should have already received.

It’s the only sliver of wisdom in the team’s decision to drag their feet on the contracts given to receiver CeeDee Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott. With those deals not done, Micah waited his turn. If the Cowboys had signed them earlier, Parsons might have made a bigger stink.

He now should. He shouldn’t set foot on the field until his ankle has fully healed. Unless they want to pay him. Which they already should have done.
