NFL Random Thought of the Day

Things just looked UP for DW4 and a trade to the Jets. Something he might approve. Robert Saleh NEW HC for the Jets just hired Mike LaFluer (Matt's brother) as his OC. Mike was Kyle Shanhan's passing game coordinator. DW4 wants to play in a WCO. This would be about as good as gets for DW4 and playing in a WCO.

This post was put in the thread "Watson Trade Value" because it is about DW4 and a possible trade scenario. Me thinks an over zealous mod has a stick up his butt. In the words of Bill Belichick, just do your job.

I think this guy is just riding Reid’s coattails. Not sold on him. Just a feeling nothing more. I think Reid designs that offense and EB contributes. If that is the case give me Brady
Couldn't agree more. There is a reason he's flunking so many interviews. If Texans don't hire him to appease DW4 he may not get hired. BTW Reid calls all the plays.

A 20 year dynasty is nice for one division. Kudos to the Patriots but I like the Bills and the way they've gone about their business in building a team ready to take on or surpass the likes of the Patriots.

Love the Bills, I told everybody last yr that Allen better than DW4.

My thoughts haven't changed.

If Aaron Rodgers gets back to his discount double check move, I'll get back on that wagon.

Mark Ingram set to become a FA, worth a look i reckon

Naw...

Ingram, 31, was a healthy scratch for four of the Ravens' final five contests this season, including both playoff games. The Ravens will create $5 million in salary-cap room by releasing the 10-year veteran.

A Pro Bowl player in 2019, Ingram didn't have the same explosiveness this campaign, and he was slowly phased out of the Ravens' game plan, finishing with a career-low 72 carries. Baltimore ended up with the No. 1 rushing attack in the NFL by relying on rookie J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards.

I vaguely recall Florio started his site as a rumor mill and then it became popular. He seems to be all over this Easterby reporting and I'm pretty ambivalent when it comes to his reporting or even if it's accurate or not. However, when he posts an article like "Some in the league think Josh Allen has caught Patrick Mahomes", it's just flagrant click bait material for Bills mafia to generate traffic to site.

Does anyone think "some" people would consider Allen over Mahomes?

Uh..No

Samuel Richard Darnold (born June 5, 1997)[1] is an American football quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at USC, and was selected third overall by the Jets in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Darnold was a two-sport athlete at San Clemente High School, playing football and basketball. Considered a four-star recruit by Rivals.com, he was recruited to USC and joined the football team. After redshirting his freshman year in 2015, he served as the second-string quarterback in 2016 before being named the starter after three games. As a redshirt freshman starter, he set multiple USC freshman records and led the Trojans to nine consecutive wins that culminated with a victory at the 2017 Rose Bowl. Darnold declared for the 2018 NFL Draft at the conclusion of his redshirt sophomore season. Upon winning the Jets' starting quarterback position in his rookie training camp, he became the NFL's youngest opening-day starter since the AFL–NFL merger.

This guy could be our teams starting QB in September (2021). Hey guys no shixx, it could really happen, right ?
I've seen him play just once and that was a couple years ago, Darnolds rookie year, when we played the Jets at their place in Jersey.
Hey I was very favorably impressed. The guy was mobile, he could run, and he looked to have a strong and accurate arm, definitely legit NFL arm caliber.
I dunno know exactly what the problem is in NY, but what about him down here if we do in fact part ways with DW4 and our trading partner is the Jets ?

YIKES!!!!! An avid 15 year old football fan could probably deliver an equally mesmerizing podium speech. Maybe he froze being in front of the mic for the first time and he'll be a better coach once on the field.
Well, he was a coordinator so he’s more than qualified.

Think about this,

Without the helment catch/Welker dropping a catch that would've given the Pats a 1st down to clinch the game and Foles amazing game Brady could be undefeated in SB's.
This dude has played in 10 Super Bowls? Just amazing.
Since 2001 he's only not been in the SB every year or every other year once. From 2007 to 2011. Look at the 3 teams he's lost to, the NFC EAST (beat em once).
I'm not a fan but I respect what he has done, how can you not? I'm rooting for him and the Bucs Sunday. time for the ol man to show the kid who's the GOAT.

Chiefs’ Britt Reid Involved In Car Accident
February 5th, 2021 at 5:26pm CST by Sam Robinson

Chiefs outside linebackers coach Britt Reid was involved in a multicar accident Thursday night in Kansas City, the organization revealed in a statement.

Reid, the 35-year-old son of Chiefs HC Andy Reid, was driving a vehicle that struck two other cars that were sitting on the entrance ramp of a highway. Two young children suffered injuries in this accident. One of the children, a 5-year-old, suffered life-threatening injuries, Tod Palmer of KSHB 41 Kansas City reports.

Reid admitted to having two or three alcoholic drinks and taking prescription Adderall before this accident occurred, according to a police report. A Kansas City Police Department officer detected “a moderate odor of alcoholic beverages” and indicated Reid’s eyes were “bloodshot and red,” according to to the TV station. Reid was transported to a local hospital for unspecified injuries, according to ESPN.com’s Dianna Russini (on Twitter). Authorities have not charged Reid, but Russini adds he is under investigation for driver impairment.
