NFL Random Thought of the Day

You know, for how great Tom Brady is.. I don't see the Pats winning it all until they can effectively run the ball.. this game should've been over a long time ago.. Throw to get a lead.. run to bleed the clock.. if the Chiefs didn't make so many mistakes, they could have a lead right now.

If Brady isn't making amazing throws the offense stalls.. I don't know if you can consistently count on that this time of year
 
The Patriots versus Packers in the Super Bowl is what I'd like to see at this point. Aaron Rodgers versus Tom Brady in a matchup of elite quarterbacks. That would be a perfect Super Bowl 50 storyline. Let's see if the Packers can win a road game at Arizona right now on NBC.
 
Rob Gronkowski set an NFL playoff record for most Touchdown catches by a tight end (8 and 9). He also sealed the victory by recovering the Chiefs' onside kick at the end.

Come on, Packers. Take care of business at Arizona.
I want that Patriots versus Packers Super Bowl 50.

The Patriots will beat the Broncos or Steelers next weekend.

The Panthers or Seahawks will be a tough challenge for the Packers if they can advance past the Cardinals. The Packers have a tougher road but we'll see.
 
I think the Cardinals handle the Packers tonight, Packers Oline is in shambles and the Cardinals have a more complete team.

Also not sure the Patriots can get past the Broncos..their secondary/defense is loaded. That should be a good game though
 
You may be right. Arizona is stacked on both sides of the ball and at home. But if there's any quarterback who can find a way to pull out a big win on the road in the playoffs, with a makeshift offensive line, it's going to be Aaron Rodgers.
 
Brady now going to his 10th conference championship with a shot at his 7th Super Bowl and 5th SB win.

He's just on a different level. Montana is the only guy I can think of to measure him against. No one else comes close.
 
That defense has to be so gassed right now.. how many 3rd downs did the Packers convert on that drive.. Packers get a quick stop here and they'll be in business

They have been since Corey Dillon retired.
 
Aaron Rodgers is just a brilliant surgeon out there.
What a drive! He just stamped his will on this game.

Not even the Cardinals defense could stop him.
Packers on top 13-7. Still a close game in the second half.

I don't know if there's another quarterback I enjoy watching more than Aaron Rodgers. Maybe Tom Brady. But it still hurts we drafted Travis Johnson instead of Aaron Rodgers way back in the day!

No they haven't, They've had runners since Dillion.. Granted it was running back by committee.. but they've been able to move the ball well enough to run out the clock. If they win this year they'll break a record for winning the superbowl with the fewest rushing yards ever.
 
I think the Packers are going to win it unless they turn it over.. the int is still a killer.. I can't believe Palmer threw that Hoyer pass
 
Well I didn't expect that..

See kids, all we got to do is find a QB at Carson Palmer's level and with our defense we can make a deep playoff run.. and Palmer didn't even have a good game
 
With what the Chiefs did at the end of their game with the clock, and now Arizona, it makes you wonder if these coaches have ever coached a football game before.
 
2:00 is plenty of enough time to score.. but he does only have reserve WRs..

Oh well remember when we faced that reserve Frank Reich? :)
 
If I'm a Cardinals fan I wonder about the calls throughout this game.

Yeah buddy. I was (and I don't like this word) dumbfounded at the Chiefs lack of concern about the clock. It was kind of off the charts, imo.
