It's funny as hell over there but I think it's finally taken its toll on them over now. And reality is starting to set in as they are basically just insulting the Texans with every post now. They are all just bitter now.

The problem with "the team" getting back is that this "bum" division, as you refer to it, has gotten A LOT better...GIBBS has had two years...Parcels has turned the tide, and The Giants have a QB now....We owned the division because the Division STUNK...it is MUCH better now...then in our little 2001-2004 run...

Oh, and incase you think all of what I say is bubkis...VEGAS is on my side....NOT YOURS...we/ the BIRDS...are a LOOOOOONG SHOT....we were 4-1 in our SB year...and 2-1 to win the NFC....Today we are 18-1....WAKE UP DUDE...and stop drinking the GREEN KOOL AID!

1)Texas, I don't want to be rude because we're all NFL fans here, but some teams just have to suck to keep the continuity of the league. If every team was good, it just wouldn't work out. i guess. they mostly keep saying 2-14 like i didn't sit threw that season last year and expect it to hurt me more than it already.

believe me when i say this offseason has made me forget about 2-14 and now i'm ready for the draft and then TC.

I guess Philly forgot what there record looked like last year and without McNabb, how well McMan and Dietmer did....
 
Just out of curiosity how many post do you think will be in this thread before we get to Monday noon time when the next explosion of post is almost certain to happen. LOL!!

The Redskins are beyond cellar dwellers. Randle-El, Brandon Lloyd, Santana Moss, Clinton Portis, Chris Cooley -- all under the play calling of Al Saunders.

The NFC East had better look out...

I'm impressed with us picking us Moulds (probably our 3rd or 4th targeted receiver), but there is still a couple of positions that are in dire need of an upgrade, CB and OL. Someone really lit a fire under Casserly this offseason (thanks Dan!)

I think Moulds would be a lock as our #2 receiver. He still commands a double team in Buffalo.. and that is what we need..someone who can take pressure off of AJ.

i'd say he was more like our 2nd....i'm pretty sure Givens was the only other WR we thought we would have a chance at.

I'm with Grid on this one. Moulds has alot left in the tank. There is every chance that he will be our most productive WR next season. AJ will still get most of the attention, and Moulds will work over most DB2s.
 
How are we looking cap-wise? Any room left to pick up some relatively inexpensive free agents (say, $1 mil per year or less) before the draft?

Didn't someone from the Chronic claim the Texans were going to take a receiver with their 2nd round pick? This trade will definately put that to rest.
 
Which is very good news because that #2 pick is gonna be very valuable, in terms of players available. Spending it on a DB or OT would be much nicer.
 
Things have certainly taken a turn for the better for the Texans. Putzier at tight end, Bush (likely) at RB, Moulds now at WR... all you really need is to shore up that OL and David Carr will become the happiest guy in Texas.
 
Yep.. and even the Oline doesnt really need all that much work. They were misused by the past staff..I think Sherman and Kubiak will really be the biggest contributors to an improved Oline. Though I would like to get a young lineman or two in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

Mostly what I want to see us address in this draft is the defensive secondary. That is, imo, one of our weakest parts right now.. and we just cant afford that in our division.
