I can't believe we don't get it.![]()
It's not a night game. It is the noon game.
yeah, the game is going on tonight, but England is ahead by 3 days, so we won't get it till Sunday. time zones are weeiirddd
the good thign is that there's a lot of british dolphins fans (quite a few post on Finheaven), and they're going nuts over this. and the country as a whole is going huge about this game. so they're not just looking at it as a novelty, they're really interested in this.
i like the idea. just makes sense, business-wise.
i doubt they'll be too passionate about the game.
probably budweiser, or whichever beer's the official beer of the NFL, but that's not where they'll get drunk. start a pubcrawl hours before the game starts, you'll be feeling awesome.what beer do they serve at those venues.
Just watch the soccer hooligans get drunk and tear the place up.

Just watch the soccer hooligans get drunk and tear the place up. I hope this blows up in the NFLs faces. Just don't think its right for those Brits to get a regular season game. It seems only fair that if the NFL wanted to do this that the Germans should have been given the game since they have more of an appreciation for american football. I would think since 5 out of the 6 NFL europe teams were in that country. The Brits that come to this game are coming to get on american TV and show us that they can get drunker than us anytime. lol
Have fun Sideline! Root for my Giants! I'll be watching the game from here.

Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder has admitted not knowing people speak English in London.
The NFL player might want to check a map before he gets on board a plane for Sunday's prestige game against the New York Giants at Wembley Stadium.
Crowder, who comes from Atlanta in Georgia, may be praised on the field, but confessed geography was not his strong point.
He admitted he did not know until now where London was - or that Londoners spoke English.
"I couldn't find London on a map if they didn't have the names of the countries," he said.
"I swear to God. I don't know what nothing is. I know Italy looks like a boot. I learned that."
Crowder added: "I know (Washington Redskins linebacker) London Fletcher. We did a football camp together. So I know him.
"That's the closest thing I know to London. He's black, so I'm sure he's not from London. I'm sure that's a coincidental name."
Dolphins player creates an impression.
LMAO. Not a great start.

Physical contact. This is going to seem very strange, but sometimes, in American football, opposing players will touch each other, and when they do, neither of them will go flailing to the ground as if they've just been shot in the neck with a high-powered rifle. This will be the biggest adjustment for you.
Knowing when the game ends. Your game lasts 90 minutes, and you're usually home in two hours ... our game lasts 60 minutes, and you'll be lucky to be home in 3 and a half hours. I'm actually on your side with this one ... the NFL should go to two 60-minute halves in which the clock runs non-stop.
But there's another clock issue. We do this weird thing where we have our clock count downwards instead of upwards, so that players and fans don't have to be good at subtraction (this comes in very handy for Jeremy Shockey) and guessing to know how much time is left.
And even more baffling then that, the players stop playing when the clock hits a certain point. In the case of this game, the game will end when the clock shows 0:00 at the end of the final quarter. And I mean precisely then, unlike the British soccer method of, "Eh, we'll stop the game somewhere depending on 45:00 and 50:00, depending on how things are going."
colorblind eh. miami is redIs the Giants/Dolphins the green or the red? I can't tell.
Thanks guys, I will be representing do not worry, really looking forward to the game should be great.
I can totally understand where you guys are coming from with losing a game, and I do agree that it is wrong that teams should lose a regular season game to another country and I also think most British fans do realize the same however when we are presented with this game in our lap, we may as well take it up.
I have to say that while this is Americas game I think its very wrong to think that there will be no noise and people are going just to get on American TV. While Football may not be the countrys sport in general there are fans like myself who have been brought up on the game just like many of you, their are many hardcore and very well educated fans over here and ALOT of them. Many may have never been to an NFL game before, so whoever is playing, wherever they are playing we will go and see, and we will love it, for the chance to be watching the NFL not just to get on "American TV"
I promise you that stadium will be noisy beyond belief, and I wouldnt put it past the Dolphins to sneak a win here, although a regular season game this is unlike any other in my opinion, different country, different city, different fans, it will have an atmosphere where a winless team may be able to just sneak a win.
Ill be taking my camera down to London with me so will post the photographs on the internet when I return.
