Is Tom Savage A Long Term Option?

You forgot "some." I'm sure you can figure out where.

Clearly this WWII vet wasn't offended:

I must be missing something - I can't tell from this photograph.
He's kneeling in support of the NFL kneelers.
Otay.

There were a bunch of veterans that came out in support of Kaep. Just a sampling:

SOLDIERS SPEAK OUT ON KAEPERNICK: His protest 'makes him more American than anyone'

An open letter from American military veterans in support of Colin Kaepernick

Veterans take a knee in support of national anthem protests

This is the tip of the iceberg. A quick Google search reveals many other similar stories.

The truth is Kaep has been blackballed, and the idea that no team will touch a QB that took a team to the Super Bowl for even a tryout is proof positive. It's a no brainer obvious, and I cannot help but think that any one who does not see it is either mentally blind from an agenda or just slow.

I have never been impressed with the guy. Heck, we "ALL" (wink wink) know Kaep is a better QB than RGII ever hoped to be, but for some reason, his name is continually left out of the discussion for even a backup QB role.

Doesn't he want to be a starter with starter money? Serious question, 'cause I really don't know. I get why he's unemployed if that's the case.

Okayyyyy............. back to Tom Savage.

Ruined by Texans o-line, probably do good somewhere else, Keenum style. There was no way this O-line could protect a pocket passer, BOB knows this yet still went ahead with it anyways. To say Tricky Ricky was the only problem......... maybe not so much.

Probably gonna end up a Patriot just wait and see.

My father in law was a POW in Vietnam, I've never met a more courageous and patriotic man. He says everyone has a right to speak and be heard, and takes no offense to any group of people kneeling during the national anthem. Enough for me.

At work?

You got me grammar Nazi therefore the correction and yes you can speak your mind at work, if the owner/boss is a bigot go work somewhere else might be a shock but there are plenty of right and left leaning workplaces, find one who is in line with your views and enjoy life.

Verbose enough for you?

It was a different offense which I’m sure has something to do with it but I thought Keemun looked better in his time here than Savage.

It’s possible. Especially if the story of him going in the locker room after Obama’s won is true.

And I’m sure you know this but I feel the need to say it anyways but bigotry doesn’t have to be about race.

I have found that there is a (I'm not sure if this is the right word) bigotry more about classes of people and keeping them down (Maybe not intentionally) than there is bigotry about race. Even though there's plenty of that from people of all races.

Sorry this post isn't as clear as I would like it to be.

If Keenum had the good teams that Schaub had when his turn came around, there's probably a real good chance that the Texans would've seen the Keenum that the Vikings got to enjoy. I think the organization is snake-bit when it comes to coordinating the arrival of their talent, it just seems to be forever out of sync.

I think part of that has been their reactionary nature.

Could just be my perception but it seems like when a problem comes up we very rarely have a solution or even a stop gap on the team.

No one is ever going to have all their holes filled but some things are obvious to see coming. For instance, Watt and Clowney.

The Texans need to start looking at some developmental pass rushers because those guys have injury histories. Another good pass rusher to bring a long is a good idea.

I said last off season they should either keep Bouye and/or draft a DB high or in the mid rounds.

OL speaks for itself.

They did a good job transitioning from Wilfork though. I think they are ok at interior line. Could use another guy there but given the nature of pass happy league there should be extra emphasis on pass rush and pass coverage.

A few years ago they saw the team lacked explosive playmakers. They got strong one draft then they got fuller, Miller, Miller(fa rb), Ervin...1 guy is no longer here, Fuller has had injuries, Ervin and Miller are closer to throw aways than contributors and it’s time to look for a RB.

I’m gonna end the rant here....

Nice statement....you and I are seeing things on pretty much the same eye level. This is going to be a very interesting off-season for Gaine and O'Brien. The Cushing cut was necessary but obvious. I'm waiting to see if there are any additional cuts that help the team, especially with the idea of improving the 2018 working cap space.

Very few people are allowed to speak their minds at work.

I feel sorry for you and whoever else has to withstand a soul vacuum of a workplace. I've worked at places like that primarily in the oil/gas sector and quitting those jobs was a net positive in my life.

You also do know that you don't have to feel like you do right? Unless you want to. Is a paycheck really worth being an empty shell? Honestly I think you work where you do so you can be around like minded individuals and there is nothing wrong with that.

Wow, sharing conversation with others in regards to Houston sports is prohibited? Is the owner a Cowboys fan? Or, is Uncle Rico really alluding to discussing political views?
