Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars. 12/5. 7:25. NFLN. **Official Game Thread**

I am in a hotel room in Alice, TX with no radio or NFL channel with the Cinnci/Louisville game on. Every time I look at the NFL Game Center Swearinger is costing us the game. One of his penalties was taunting. Is his BS today as bad as it sounds?

I really had no idea that he was this bad. I mean, this guy is a one-man wrecking crew pointed in the wrong direction. How in the hell does somebody this inept get drafted in the second round? When he's not getting called for penalties he's being run through and falling down in coverage. He literally cannot do any of the things you expect a safety to do at this or any other level.

How do we keep finding guys like this?

I turned it off. I'm going to bed. There should be firings tomorrow. There won't be. This is how the Houston Texans work. Only one word comes to mind to describe this franchise. They're impotent.

He's not getting fired until the season is over, JMO. Which is completely fine with me. We aren't doing anything anyway so let him flame out on his own.

I also don't want Wade to get a shot at interim HC and beat Denver or Indy and Bob give him a 10 year contract because of it.

Not me. It does nothing to can him now. He needs to be fired the day after the last game. But he must go this entire coaching staff needs to be dumped.
 
I think the only kind of football I care about now, is actually called soccer in this country.

This team has waaaay to much talent to be performing at this level.
 
This team lost this game. You can say what you want about Jacksonville playing well (**** you Mike Mayock) but we shot ourselves in the foot on every scoring drive...again. We extend drives better than anyone else for the other team.

Could say the same with Keenum at QB, he has the potential, the coaches arent playing to his strengths, they try to mold everyone to play their style which is old outdated and sucks. Look at coaches around the NFL who adjust to their QBs style of play, Kubiak could never do that !
 
schaub might be coming back in. I'm not even angry, just shows that this team is finished and the coaching staff will be gone this week
 
I'd rather have Yates than Schaub. Seriously. If we're going to put in someone else, can it at least be Yates?

I'm in a hotel room in Corpus Christi, and couldn't enjoy dinner because of constant game check. Unfortunately, the scores are very disappointing. Once I returned to my room I found that the NFL Network isn't available, but seems that's doing me a favor. I realize that a #1 pick can help, but my competitive nature makes this hard to take.
 
Honestly, this season has been a perfect storm of suck.
Injuries to key players, rookies loosing their cool to the
tune of double-digit penalty yards -- even the coach
stroking out.

I have never witnessed anything like this.

It's like the 1992 Oilers-Bills game played out over an entire season..

And now Schaub is back in -- we must be running the 2 minute
drill right?
 
And people say Hopkins is slow.

Honestly, Schaub has done some ok things when he has been asked to come in as a backup. Not good, but at least ok. Better than Keenum honestly.
 
Maybe we should hire jax OC. He's put up 24 against a top defense with henne at QB in less than 3 quarters. :kitten:
