Hutch looks much improved over last year. I get it. He is playing against backups. But he is also playing with backups, and I am mostly just comparing this preseason version of Hutch to last. He is also showing arrow up.

And he looks like a legit big NFL WR who can play on the outside.

Mills, Akers, and Hutch, big arrows up. And BTW backups on the oline are also balling out. It’s hard because of all the rotation but Fischer has looked good the few times I have focused on him.

Broeker has also had himself a decent game when he’s on the field.

This is huge. Slowik shows the system elevates backup level players. Not just the stars. I’m gonna miss him when he leaves to be a HC somewhere next season.

Was that Metchie that dropped that pass.. I couldn't tell, because they cut away to Simone Biles.. I think it was though. He can't afford to be dropping passes. Way too much of that last year.

I always liked the hutchinson pick. Although he didn’t do much last season with playing time, you could see he gave effort and tried. Looks like he improved, looks more comfortable out there

Texans defense is really bad….but 11 and 80 are playing lights out. He is making highlight reel throws, at times into good coverage. And I think Andre Johnson snuck into Collin Johnson’s number 80 uniform. Very very impressive performances by that duo.

Multiple drives where our dbs aren’t looking back at the ball. Guess that’s what separates elite dbs from mediocre dbs. This game comes down to anticipation. Running with your man while looking back right in time to make the play accordingly. Giving up big plays is the quickest way to get cut

UT…drafted in 2020 by the Jags. Signed with the Giants in 2021. Went to the Bears in 2023.

If the Texans brought in a kicking tee retriever and called him Mojo, would Amy Adams Strunk file a lawsuit?

I think Fisher played the entire 1st half. Kenyon Green and Juice Scruggs got a good amount of work in, also.

There really isn't a place on this roster for Keenum anymore.. it makes zero sense as Stroud is not a rookie and Davis is entering his 4th year. He wasn't the greatest athlete when he came in.. He's 36 now.

Just think though .. Years and MILLIONS of dollars ago, this guy was sitting in a deer stand when we called him. His life would make one helluva movie.
